Ive tried to figure this toady and have spent a few hours with no fruit. Im now at the stage of doing one of those YouTube videos where the fraustrated guy bashes up his PC..
I have managed to find a link where the software converts wma files to acc+ format, but once i do this my Windows Mediaplayer or my Sony Erricson Disc to phone software cant recognise the files. Result is i cant locate the files to sync them to my phone. What am i doing wrong? grrrr.
Wheres all the whiz kids when you need them

... I hope this was of help.
I wanted to know if the Dagara elders could tell the diffrence between fiction and reality. The elders did not understand what a starship is, they did not understand what the fussy uniforms had to do with anything but they recognized in Spock a Kontomble of the seventh planet... they had never seen a Kontomble that big.

Do you mean the AAC format that iTunes/Macs use? If so, then iTunes will convert it if you set the preferences.
If not, then I suggest the people who make WavePad has a convertor that I used for a while, it's time limited (shareware) but you can do it while it's still free.

I think i mean eAAC+
The Sony Ericsson W850i mobile phone isn't just a Walkman music player. It's a camera phone, a video phone, a radio and a web browser, keeping you in touch and entertained on the move.
Everything you need for music is included with the W850i. You're given a stereo headset and a 1GB memory card, along with a USB cable and software for transferring tunes from your PC to the phone. In case you wondered, 1GB will hold around a thousand songs in the new eAAC+ format (and there's an extra 64MB of storage in the phone as well).

Thanks for the refs, i will try them out.

It should come with the converter.
How about this one; http://www.convert-music.com/
I tried using a different media player and still cant locate files that have been converted to this new acc+ format.
It might be your computer not recognising the files or they may be hidden, try changing the settings on your comp to show allfiles... its in the folder settings. If you've got the new version of windows it might even be that. I was stupid enough to use the new excel to do some work the other day, messed up everything.
