Have any of you guys got any tips and advice on how to get the best out of the net/computers in general?

For example I know that diffrent search engines are good for diffrent things and don't have the same function but I'm not sure what those functions are exactly... there are alsotools that people can download forfree to speed up their bandwidth (apparently), downloads where people canwatch international Tv on their computer we pay £1000 a year to watch Tv over here in the UK can dodge that one watching it on your comp... ummm... downloads to change your IP address for what ever reason... the best download programs (films, games, music etc) in general. The best browser... the best anti virus/firewall blah blah blah

Any tips andadvice, technical info and so on that most people don't know about. Was gonna focus on the net but as the two are tied may as well make it about both but mainly the net.

I think joost is still in beta,and u have to register as a beta tester but the service looks good.
