Ok well this is probably too late but for future ref:
If you're using Outlook Express you can either cut and paste a picture in your mail or you could send it as an attachment.
Go to File,New, MailMessage, (or click Reply), then click on the 'Insert' tab. Choose the file you wish to attach and it will go show in an 'attach' bar.
It should be similar for 'Outlook'.
If you're using webmail there is usually a facility where you can send attachments but the routewill be different. Depends on the particular webmail you're using. Read any 'help' pages.
