Can anybody advise me as to how I can get hold of a cheap nintendo wii ( well one at the price its supposed to be) It seems like just cos its christmas time all the shops are taking the piss with the prices.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but at least every where, they are sold out of them and I remembered hearing on the news that while they are continue to keep the Wii's on stock , they are not going to overindulge the stores with the games. They are only giving stores somany at a time. My sisters has been trying to get a Wii since this summer with no luck, but I'm hopeful of it as I want to play on the system myself.

Well you're best bet, if you don't mind a used machined is the Gamestation, where they sell quality second games and machines.. you might be able to pick up a box that has hardly been used.... other than that watcher is right you have no chance picking up a new box on the cheap at this time of year...
Even Gamestation isn't a good bet right now lol. You're better off just waiting for the New Years sales. I'm gonna bag one myself cos I still don't have any incentive to get a PS3.

To be honest I aint running out to buy no new console, like i did last time with the PS2.... just as I would not even consider paying full price for a game that i know will be half price or less in a few weeks time... Too much rip off business going on with games and consoles at the moment...
Wii is about the only console worth purchasing now. Nintenedo have got it wrapped up this year. With the Wii appealing to families, and the new control making it so much damn fun! And the DS Lite Brain Training appealing to the over 30s, plus the low prices.
One of each still don't add up the the price of a PS3, and the games are better!
Game shops have deliverys at 11am in the morning, first come first served.
Don't Get a Nintendo Wii just because Super Mario Galaxy is out now. don't you remember 2002 when the Gamecube came out with super Mario sunshine, and we all thought it was going to be another N64? Man i regret the day i brought a Gamecube, and to think they would produce quality games. Nintendo always bring out their big guns during their console launch.

Supe up your PC, damn Wii thinks its all that, you can't beat a PC for game play and fuctions hook it up to your LSD/Plasma screen for family fun! Can get any station across the world over the net.
I wanted to know if the Dagara elders could tell the diffrence between fiction and reality. The elders did not understand what a starship is, they did not understand what the fussy uniforms had to do with anything but they recognized in Spock a Kontomble of the seventh planet... they had never seen a Kontomble that big.
