Hmmmm... they've basically... re-invented the TV remote control, and now along with the TV remote I'm gonna be searching behind the couch for this thing ???
Cheers Ninendo !

Hardly revolutionary. All they've done combined TV remote control with a light gun and Sony's eye toy. I'll stick with the Xbox360 thanks.

the controller looks good but looks confusing, i like the colours overall and i used to like nintendo
just hope they bring out good games unlike sony and hope we can really play the retro nintendo games or else..
jus gotta wait and see what this revolution is all about if its disapointing like the game cube then microsoft is gonna get another customer.

Afirst person shooter with thatcontroller will be fantastic.
Main Controller Features
- 3D Pointing. Sensors understand up, down, left, right, forward and backward.
- Tilt Sensitive. Controller can be rotated or rolled from side-to-side.
- Buttons Included. Has a trigger on its backside, face buttons, and a D-Pad.
- Multifunctional. Has an expansion port which can be used with different types of controller peripherals. Analog stick with two trigger buttons planned for left hand.
- Wireless. Totally wire-free. Currently there are no details on the max distance, source or power, or otherwise.
- Rumble Built-in. Included as a standard in all the controllers
Think of it as using a computermouse in 3D space. If properly executed it could very well be a revolution. Imagine playing Madden and just having to direct the controller to where you want to throw the ball. The interactive possiblities are almost limitless.

@ Peacemaker
Yeah, I heard its tilt sensitive which could be interesting. I guess I can't really diss it untill I've played a game using the controller but it does look akward.
Mind you I definately commend Nintendo for doing something different as I heard they were the first to introduce the control pad with the D-buttons as we know it, and then they combined the D-buttons and analogue controls so they are defintely pioneers in the game industry... but with this hmmmm - I dont know ?
All I can say is Nintendo can't afford to mess up, or as far as the european market is concerned - they could end up dead as the SEGA console cos Sony and Microsoft are running tings round 'ere

I almost fell on the floor laughing when I saw it, I yelled out that they were doomed until I peeped the HDTV in the background of the demo, thought about playing metroid Prime, Doom or a Halo sort of game on it. If you catch the demos you'd see Fly fishing demos and things and that is tight! There is also a standard controller for the thing as well as plugs for the Gamecube controller.

If they focus on the remote control they will be doomed to handheld gaming because if this one fails Nintendo Homes systems are DONE!
I plan to buy the Xbox 360 but this remote control and some good gaming will have me buying Nintendo! At least I may be able to go Fly fishing!
Say it LOUD! "I\'M BLACK and I\'M PROUD!"
