One of my resolutions is to start doing a martial art but amconfused as to whic one to do

My 1st choice would be Krav Maga but I want something more structured, i.e, starts january - march. However, the one class I can get to isnt structured

I' also like the look of Jeet Kune Do, but I'm not into this finding oneself nonsense, f inner peace, I wanna break bones

I'm looking a military form of training, hand to hand combat but cant find anything open to civilians

Are there any martial art experts here?

Any advice on the course would be very welcome

I've been studying Shotokan actively for about 10 years..my wife studies it (well not at the moment she's 8 months pregnant)...and my son is studying....

....I like it because it is not as fluid as other styles and more linear.....I started with boxing (Golden Gloves) and normally progressed.

I studied in Japan for 8 years under Master Matsune in Ehime. Martial arts isn't something you can wake up one day and say

"Hey I want to learn how to how to kick azz" Martial arts is hard work....think about it before you commit of you will the next brutha in a long line of bruthaz that says.

"Oh.........I used to study karate"
