Er, get yourself a Spin Bike if you wanna tone up, lose weight and also improve your cardiovascular strength!.

Believe me you wouldn't regret it. 45mins daily, 5 days a week on a 1 month programme and no doubt you'll see the difference!

stick with only one, the cross trainer.

It gets the old heart rate up to a fat buring mode quickly.

I would also suggest some kind of weight training.

start off slowly

I always had success with a basic routine of upper body one day then lower body the next day. 3 sets with8 to 10 reps for starters.

At a min you want to do no less than 4 routines a day

Visit this 3 - 4 times a week.

Keep in mind that this is very basic. WhatI think you want is toget started

@ BP Is there any foods recommended to be combined with the exercise regime?

If I was to buy ONE piece of equipment that you would recommend for weight loss what would it be?

Try the basics:

Veggies (for salads the greener the better), fruit

Chicken, fish, pork (lean meats)

Diet sodas (I really can't taste the different btwn these the real stuff), Water

Use the sugar subs

Cut out the butter

Make sure you eat 3 meals a day (small portions) and not the fast foods (I know how hard this is -I'm hanging in there too). Sit down and take your time to eat good meals. Try not to eat meals in you car. niceone.gif

Count everytime you follow your plan as a small victory. "I ate breakfast and made to lunch without that donut or cookie, I know I can keep this up !"

This is how I must think. I screw the process up alot, but I know, I can always try again and again.

Sweeteners. These can be just as good as sugar. Sometimes you can't even taste the difference.

When comes to sodas; I drink all diet, but the best stuff (soda) is no caffeine, sugar or sodium. Obvious water is the very best. Now there is flavored water, that's good too or flavor seltzer.

Hang in there !clp)
