I love the gym but hate paying the extortionate prices for it. However, since discovering
http://www.moneysavingexpert.comespecially the forums, It would appear that there are a few ways in which I could exercise at knock down prices or nothing.
After exercising at LA fitness for the whole of January for free ( courtesy of Tiscali.com). I simply could not return to paying gym fees. I am at the point of signing up with BUPA for their Select 3 health care plan with maximum excess (because I have no intention of being ill and put my money where my faith is as I could not afford the excess anyway) and will be paying less than £20 per month for a 12 month contract, because, it comes with a years free Fitness First membership.
I have 21 days to change my mind so if Fitness First get awkward ie try to offer me an off peak membership ortie me toone club in the wilderness of somethinglike that I will cancel BUPA.
AXA and a another health insurance company are offering deals with LA fitness and knock downmembership fees with the old Holmes Places etc.
Check it out . At the same time check out other freeness like cinema tickets etc.
