a friend suggested i use supplements to start me off as i increase my exercise activity

thermaloid

was recommended

i have read about phase2 and adios

not sure if i need any? are these a good thing or a bad thing

I would say that the only supplement you should take is a multi vitamin tablet, once a day.

Unless you have a deficiency and your body can't process or take in something by itself, or you're a pro athlete pushing your body to extreme levelsthen you don't need supplements. A balanced diet covers all you need.

The rest is marketing and money making. Placebos...

ok so i guess than i ought to look into the best foods to eat...and will enjoy eating

is there other ways of getting vitamin c othern than oranges?

Sis all citrus fruits have quite a lot and since you're Jamaican I guess you cook or marinate with lemons right?

Also there's a lot in tomatos as well and many other fruits/veg. The body doesn't actually need that much vitamin C tbh...

The multivitamin tablets are there just to replace any deficiencies the body may have before and during your workout schedule.

You're quite right about your food intake as well. Try to eat little meals every 3 hours to keep up your metabolism.
