How do BN villagers combat this?? Have tried so many different sprays/oil on my scalp and none of them seem to work. I dont like oils or anything petroleum based. Please help because it really is getting on my last nerve! All tried and tested suggestions welcomed thanks.

BB182

I use Kera Care moisturising lotion on my hair... some people say it does nothing for them, but it works wonders for my hair.

If you have braids or weave, then my friend uses Tea Tree oil braid spray. She swears by it.

Hope that helps...

Ok.....Got a pen?? LOL

Parnevu T-tree braid spray.... double checked the spelling with my friend so I'm sure it's correct.

Yes Kera care smells lovely and not too greasy either.

Good luck Blackbutterfly, hope it works for you.

She gets hers from a black hair shop in Harlesden, but you can get it from any good black hair care shop anywhere really. Haven't searched on-line, but it is worth a try.

Make sure that you drink enough water. Try taking a kelp tablet a day as well. Also try Sulphur 8 as well that pomade is like a miracle treatment for dry scalp. Sulphur 8 do other hair care stuff as well like shampoo.
I think doing a bit of cardio exercise may help as well as well as eating a balanced diet.

I really feel it for you I suffered with dry scalp for years and have even stopped going to hairdressers because a week later my lovely style has to be washed out because of dry scalp and the oil I have to spray to combat it. Then I discovered that if I stop eating dairy products it makes a great difference. No ice cream, no milk , no butter, . Also I now use Single Bible Products which really help, possibly because they use no lanolin or mineral oils in some or all I think of their products
