Yes it is in Nigeria but just remember that with most things here in the west, they actually come from us which is why I am more interested in our cultural perspectives of these things. Bantu Psychology is another form of looking at us in a holistic sense, where as here it is all about what theories and perspectives of "people" who really don't seem to have a culture and therefore this aspect seems to be so irrelevant just as is our soul and spirutal connections to our wellbeing.
