I’m an occasional cyclist, Have been one for nearly five years now…
Yes I jump red lights, have sworn at people, been knocked over a few times, cut up (and have been cut up by) cars and buses….but, every one should try it’s like an extreme sport/exercise and has been proven in an informal experiment by top gear to get you to your work quicker than any other means of transport during rush hour.

Yeah used to be a keen cyclist, my bike provided wicked unemployment transport...would never ride to work though, I sweat too much and would need a shower and full change of clothes - too inconvenient. Done a few of those anual London to Brighton bike rides as well...a wicked experience.

Always promised to get back into but can't seem to turn the clock back since substituting my bike for horses. The bike did come back to life a little bit over the last couple of years when me and my first boy used to go for a flash. Was well cool taking him to the petrol station teaching him how to pump up his tyres et all.

i would cycle on the pavement, which cant do in tooting, you get a hefty fine. maybe cycle where i am now in east mids but nah forget that
