JC Penny paid out a huge settlement to the arvisos when they were accused of molesting them to.It later came to light that the injuries that Janet Arviso claimed to have from the alleged incident with JCpenny were actually from her husband. JC Penny wasn't guilty at all but they still paid. In MJ's case his insurance co. paid out the sun against MJ's wishes..further more when the sum was paid the criminal charges had already been dropped.
