I'm all for the preservation of race, language and culture, but for them to adopt nazi ideologies doesn't make any sense. It's obvious they let Hitler's compliments get to their heads...but if those same Japanese nazi groups went to Germany during the second world war, they would have been even more ridiculed than the Jews (as well as dead)!

Imperialistic Japan is comparable to the empire age Britain. Both strong monarchys with powerful navys. Island nations controlling a large portion of the world. The allied themselves with Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy and the three attempted to take over the world. Germany in Europe, Japan in Asia and Italy in North Africa. The Japanese invaded China and Indonesia and all the itsy bitsy Island about there.

They over reached themselves when they attacked the US at pearl harbour. The conflict drew the Americans out and the allies beat back the Japanese empire during the course of the war. When the Americans dropped the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the Japanese gave the Unconditional surrender the Americans remade Japan in their image (to the victor go the spoils). The American miltary ruled in Japan (McArthur I think) and completly changed it. Thats why now the Japanese play baseball and their culture and music, everything is mimiced on America.

That subservient andapologetic generation got old. Japan grewthrough its electronic industry and becamemajor power again. Though the goverment is still a subordinate state of US, the people grew angry and during the 70s and 80s began to re assert their culture. Japan is best for them, a rennaisance in Japanese culture was had then and sports like Sumo can back into the mainstream. Samuri culture florished again and Karate and Judo became popular.

That generation too got old LOL the Japanese youth are again still in love with everything US and everything foreign....... the inferiority complex of a conquered and colonised nation takes a LOOONG time to go away. Japan is in a uniqu position, they have been the colonisers and oppressors now they had been colonised.

As the new generation falls back in love with everything un - Japanese, nationalist elements want to preseve that which they have and that which is theirs. The Nazi symbol to them is one of national pride because it harks back to a era when they were powerful....... confused3

Ok, while the Japanese are racist--they have the nerve to copy Hip/Hop and Soul culture. I think the Japanese need to stick with Sushi and Geisha girls and leave multi-ethnic cultures along because racial diversity should be the least of the Japanese worries ! They are all Japanese. Keep it in Japan aight !
