Said the same thing to facetygal a fewmonths ago. If a man is dealing with a 15 year old girl the man is in the position of responsibility to not even go there.

No mitigating circumstances. Dont care how slack or out of order the girl is. These guys are not 16 they are early/mid twenties.

Never heard an argument which could stand on such a basis. Acting foolish or placing yourself at risk in the worse case, and I am not talking about normal rapes by the way, is one thing. The bottom line here is that Everyone is Guilty. All those involved, the only distinction is that some are more Guilty than others.

It is true that you are innocent until proven guilty in the Legal sense,(maybe thaT ONLY apply to "rape" in this case, but they are guilty of many other things)

I don't know whether the men in Question are guilty of rape or not, that one will have to be proven.

But let us look at the morality of this unprecented case, this is a child for God's sake. She is only 15, even if she is 17, I mean it is still wrong to have 5 or 10men queueing up to have sex with her, what type of world is this. Infact it is wrong if she is 30 and we still have 5 people lining up to have sex with her. It may be legal, but it is wrong. Same as prostitution

Another thing I want to know is Don't these Men learn? it has happen before and they should havebeen aware of it. The consequences are bad enough, but they still indulges in this babaric act. Come boys, grow up and don't behave like animals. I have seen dogs do that, but they have little brain, so it is understandable, but not with human beings.

I think any girl that has had some proper home training( by the way the men looks like they have not been trained or all they have learnt is football) will not follow this people to the hotel. What are you going there for, I know she is a child, but she shouldn't have gone. If she was forced to, then it is different. LOw self esteem is a common disease, but parents need to train up their child. What are you gonna do with another guy for 24 hrs, where are your parents, don't they care about you? Don't they ask where are you?

Whatever the verdicts, theoverall fault lies with these men,whatthey have done is wrong and it may be legal( in this case it is illegal)...........but it is still wrong. I mean learn from KObe and others, they should be ashamed of themselves.

It was bad they put their pictures on the paper, but if such thingsare gonna dissuade men from this act, then so be it. It is a disgrace, I hope they feel the shame.

Yes it is true some women cry foul play when it isn't, but some men could easily avoid thesenonsense. It is about time theylearn.

a similiar case of 2 young black men and a young white woman occured in my local town where accusations of rape were made. The media also made it high profile and condemed them. As it turned out the jury were unaminous in there vote they didnt believe her. The media have a lot to awnser for in their reinforcements of negative stereotyping, as it was the families involved made the the local press announce a public apology.
The 2 young men although pronounced innocent are victims of slander but i very much doubt they or their families recieved any support,whilst this was taking place...indeed i imagine it would have all went to the lady involved.
More people need to take a stand against the media personally i dont think they should name or identify a person by race until such time the jury has cast their verdict.

Whatever the facts to this affair, when and if they actually get revealed, I think the case for anonymity of both accuser and accused (as opposed to just accuser) is a strong and is long overdue.

1. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THESE GUYS DIDN'T KNOW THE AGE OF THIS GIRL. FAIR ENOUGH THEY PICKED HER UP AT A YOUTH CENTRE, BUT 16, 17, 18 & 19YR OLDS GO TO THESE CENTRES, AND IT'S NOT UNHEARD OF FOR GIRLS TO LIE ABOUT THEIR AGE. PLEASE NOTE SHE IS NOW LEGALLY 16, BUT SHE COULD HAVE BEEN SAYING THAT FROM DAY ONE.

HOW DID THESE GUYS KNOW SHE WAS GOING TO BE AT THE YOUTH CENTRE?SURELY SHE WOULD HAVE TOLD THEM TO DROP HER HOME?THE ALLEGED RAPE HAPPENED OVER 24HRS, WHY DID THE PARENTS NOT NOTIFY THE POLICE WHEN THEIR DAUGHTER NEVER CAME HOME? COULD THIS GIRL HAVE LIED TO HER PARENTS AND SAID SHE WAS STAYING WITH A FRIEND?

3. THIS GIRL HAS HAD CONSENSUAL SEX IN THE BACK OF ONE OF THESE GUYS CAR PRIOR TO THE ALLEGED RAPE. ON THE DAY OF THE ALLEGEDRAPE IT WAS NOTED THAT BEFORE THE GIRL GOT INSIDE THE FLAT ONE OF THE GUYS PUT HIS HAND IN HER KNICKERS, THEREFORE SHE KNEW WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN WHEN SHE GOT INSIDE, AND IF SHE DIDN'T WANTIT TO HAPPEN SHE HAD THE CHANCE TO SAY SO, AND BE ON HER MERRY WAY.

4. WHEN THE GIRL SENT THE TEXT MESSAGE TO HER FRIEND SHE NEVER SAID SHE WAS BEING RAPED SHE SAID SHE WAS HAVING SEX WITH NUMEROUS MEN. INSTEAD OF TEXTING A FRIEND WHY DID SHE NOT CALL THE POLICE? I ASSUME AFTER SHE SENT THE TEXT THE ACTIVITIES RESUMED, IN WHICH CASE WHY DID SHE NOT LOCK HERSELF IN THE BATHROOM?

5. IS THERE ANY EVIDENCE TO SHOW THIS GIRL PUT UP SOME FORM OF RESISTANCE? DID SHE SAY NO? DID SHE TRY TO FEND THESE GUYS OFF WITH A KICK OR A SLAP(HOWEVER FEEBLE THE ATTEMPT MAY HAVE BEEN)? DID HER CLOTHES SHOW EVIDENCE OF A STRUGGLE?WERE THEY RIPPED OFF HER, OR WAS SHE TOLD TO TAKE THEM OFF AND FOLD THEM NEATLY?

6. I HAVE BEEN TOLD A KOSH IS A BANNED WEAPON IN THIS COUNTRY, SURELY IT WOULD BE STUPID TO USE IT TO THREATEN SOMEONE U INTENDED TO RAPE? BECAUSE IF THE RAPE CHARGE DOESN'T STICK, U COULD ALWAYS BE CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF AN ILLEGAL WEAPON, IS THAT NOT RIGHT?

7. HAS ANYONE CHECKED THE TAPE AND THE CAMERA WHICH SUPPOSEDLY FILMED THIS ALLEGED RAPE? SURELY THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST CRUCIAL PIECES OF EVIDENCE, SO WHY HAS THERE BEEN NO MENTION OF THE ACTUAL CONTENTS OF THE TAPE?

8. DID THIS GIRL HAVE FOOD & DRINK? SHE WAS THERE FOR 24HRS, SO IF THESE GUYS ARE THE MONSTERSTHEY ARE PORTRAYED TO BE THEY WOULDN'T SO MUCH AS GIVE HER A GLASS OF WATER WOULD THEY? FOOD & DRINK SUGGESTS THE GIRL WOULD BE COMFORTABLE & COSY, NOT A HELPLESS, TORTURED VICTIM.

9. THERE IS ONE MAN THAT IS INVOLVEDIN THIS WHO HAS TOTAL ANONYMITY AT ALL TIMES. I BELIEVE HE WILL EITHER HELP THE REST OF THE GUYS GO TO PRISON OR HELP THEM WALK FREE. HE COULD POSSIBLY BE THE MAN WHO WAS CALLED AND INVITED TO COME DOWN FOR "DESSERT". IF HE PARTOOK IN THE ALLEGED RAPE WHY IS HE THE ONLY ONE THAT HAS ANONYMITY?

10. NOT ALL OF THE GUYS MENTIONED PARTICIPATED IN THE ACT, SO HOW WAS IT CONFIRMED THAT THEY WERE ALL IN THE FLAT? DID THE GIRL NAME AND SHAME ALL THOSE GUYS? HOW DOES A 15YR OLD GIRL GET TO KNOW GUYS OF THOSE AGES, AND POSSIBLY KNOW WHERE THEY LIVE?

AS U CAN SEE THIS IS ALL IN FAVOUR OF THE GUYS, BUT ON THE FLIP SIDE:

A. IF THE GUYS KNEW THE REAL AGE OF THE GIRL IT WOULDN'T MATTER IF SHE CONSENTED OR NOT, BECAUSE IN THE EYES OF THE LAW THEY ARE GUILTY OF STATUTORY RAPE.

B. IF THEY KNEW THE REAL AGE OF THE GIRLTHEY SHOULDN'T HAVE TOUCHED HER WITH A BARGE POLE. THEY ARE GOOD LOOKING, TALENTED BROTHAS, WITHA BRIGHT FUTURE AHEAD OF THEM, AND SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET A GIRL THEIR OWN AGE

C. IF THEY REALLY DID RAPE HER THEY DESERVE EVERYTHING THEY GET, AFTER BEING CONVICTED, AND EVERYONE SHOULD BE NAMED AND SHAMED

D. IF THIS GIRL IS LYING SHE SHOULD BE CHARGED WITH PERVERTING THE COURSE OF JUSTICE, LYING UNDER OATH AND WASTING POLICE TIME. SHE SHOULD THEN BE NAMED & SHAMED
