How many other countries would have sufficient back bone to do this?

It is often said that people who dislike gays with a passion are concerned about their own sexuality.

What? i certainly don't have any issue where my sexuality is concerned thank you very much ,i'm just pissedat what the homos were doing to get reggae artists banned from performing and earning a livingbecause of the lyrical content when there are otherso called artists out there that havefar more offensive lyrics and nobody is doing anything to get them banned. Now the homos expect to be allowed to take their crap to one of the islands in the carribean? to right they got banned .

I guess it's funny, in a way a feel sorry for them because of their plight. But to be honest with you...
There's a thread on this site about gays rights being the same as the right for civil rights... From a christian point of view, homosexuality is wrong, and along with all the other 'homophobes' I have to say that I don't want being gay to become the norm, I guess what a lot of people are worried about, especially the middle classes, is that when and if we ever got to the stage where homosexuality was equated with heterosexuality, and entirely accepted as a norm ( and binary concept), then this would encourage homosexuality in society. i.e. people with kids who couldn't really get dates might turn to homosexuality as they see it as the norm around them and opt for it as an alternative to their failure with the opposite sex. Just like you get 13/14 year old girls running off with pervs they get to know on the net coz they probably feel unwanted. In the extreme, I'm sure they have also thought about the countrys birth rate going down, the country's image and morals (i.e.they don't want it to get like Amsterdam!) and stuff like more test tube babies and same sex couples wanting kids and adopting them as well and then the kids who are raised by them; their is also the worry of these kids veering towards being gay as they have seen it as the norm in their own home, rather than the normal fuction of man and wife. i would also feel sorry for these kids as they'll get taunted at school and i think that even a divide could form between normal kids and these other ones. it'll be like black vs white all over again. there might even start to be homo-history ( media/info onhomos who have done stuff in society/history) and then they'll protest for everything... ok ... i'll stop,.. i'm getting carried away now . LOL. But I guess that this is what a lot of peope are worried about, a dominoe effect, whether its all of the above or just a couple of them.
i'm glad i'm not gay... One time I heard a gay say, i think it was on the Ricky lake show, "We can't help it's just like being BLACK'- now I was offended. here was your stereotypical ,skipppy, skinny, little, diva, ultra-feminised, gender confused homosexual flinging his arms around leaning out of his chair in protest and comparing being gay to being black... the following sprung to mind::
!) What? So am I supposed to have to help being black then? is being black something bad? deviant? disgusting? immoral? how dare he
2) So is being black a sin? honestly. this was a white homosexual of course (LOL) so despite his little plight and supposedly being able to identify with others facing equal oppportunities issues he was still so silly and insulting.
To be really blunt, think of what you immediately envision when someone says 'black person', now think of what you immedaitely envision when you think the word 'homosexual'? LOL. Am i right in assuming it's either funny or you think 'yuck'!
It is not the same thing.

Nah....that sort of psychology don't wash with me it's feeble.
I'm glad Nevis stuck to their guns, it's their laws and I agree with them.
@ MarcusGarveyLives
How many other countries would have sufficient back bone to do this?
About half the islands in the caribbean, most countries in Africa, most countries in the Middle-East, and about half the countries in Asia-Pacific.
Basically most countries whose skin is of colour has the back bone to do this, simple statistics will back this.
The world's full of them..... and you know it!
