African Union Ministers of Interior are meeting in Tripoli to discuss issuing unified African passports and Identity.
The meetings are attended by the Secretary of the General People's Committee for Public Security, Chairman of the African Union Commission, Alpha Umar Konare, the Cen-Sad Secretary General Dr. Mohammed alMadni alAzhari, and AU Political Affairs Commissioner, Juliana Duli.
The meetings aim at facilitating measures for the movement of individuals by issuing unified African passports and Identity.
“ We must think seriously about issuing unified African passports, because it’s an important step that enables African citizens to move freely in all Africa.� The Secretary of Public Security said.
Commissioner Konare called on the Ministers of Interior to step forwards and issue unified passports to all Africans to meet all African people’s expectations.
