Boris Johnson (Conservative MP for Henley-on-Thames ) and ex-vice chairman of the Conservative party has spewed what can only be considered vile and spiteful rhetoric against Islam and Muslims an attempt to hijack the recent events to try and further his own political career.
In the spectator dated 16th July Mr Johnson published an article in which he attacks the Quran and Islam. This type of hatred should be categorised as incitement to religious hatred and should not even be considered for publication let alone printed. What does Mr Johnson think he can achieve by this outrageous outburst of uncivilised religious loathing that makes even the BNP seem timid in comparison. Some quotes from the article:

Did he attack Christianity in the same way when Christians from the IRA planted bombs in the UK ? The answer is no! It took something extreme but finally his hatred and loathing of Islam has suddenly become apparent.
His logic is child like and his arguments flawed. Does he claim to know more about Islam than Muslims? In his arrogance he decides to snub all the efforts of Muslims falling over themselves to condemn the bombings whoever may have been behind them.Investigations are still ongoing and there is no irrefutable proof that they were suicide bombings. Yet Mr Johnson could not contain his abhorrence of Islam any longer and has shown his true colours.

It needs to be asked, is this conservative party policy or will Michael Howard distance himself from these comments and pressure Mr Johnson into apologising for this behaviour unbefitting a Member of Parliament.

Many people have those views @ coltrane I'm afraid. The events of 7/7 just heightened them

I am simply saying that Boris is not known for being a racist. Lambasting Islamic extremism is not the same as lambasting Islam. I am sure he was addressing radials, and not the muslim majority.
The artcile requires registeration, but from my past exp of the man, I will put my neck on the block and say Boris Johnson was surely intending a narrow target for his comments, but perhaps failed to make that clear.
He's funny, charismatic, classy and handsome. We need him as PM! clp)

If I were a muslim I wouldn't be upset... being attacked by Borris Johnson is like being called not credible by BOBO the clown... the man is a walking cartoon with no real voice or power and is a source of comic amusement in his own clumsy inept foolishness to his own colleagues.

@ crispus attucks, offtopic.gifARE YOU THE SAME BREDA bawling out ya eyes that you went for a city job and you didn't even go pass the first hurdle???? Well men, i gats to say you've done a good thing here by joining this black forum. Stick around and you'll probably learn a thing or two about being B-L-A-C-K, there are nuff intelligent minds here and hopefully you'll be quitting the fukking conservatives to join a pan-Africanist movement in redeeming Africa from the claws of the colonial powers that be.
Back to the topic at hand, men there is no longer any difference as it were between the "New Labor" and the blasted Tory party in regards to economic policies!
In fact the new labor’s policies economic policies was very much modeled on the out going conservative's economic policies and then improved upon!
Gone are the days of boom and bust economic planning. Look around you the evidence is there, you seeit? Economic stability and prosperity is the prime objective of labor party. Matter of fact most economist believe Gordon's Brown decision to leave the BOE to set interest rate was possibly one of the best decison Labour party hastakenin improving economic stability thus resulting in very low interest rates for both young and black entrepreneurs and young black mortgage owners who can now afford the low interest rate repayment on their property! At last the monetarist win the debate here. Don’t get me wrong I don’t fully support Tony Blair and his Batty bwois in government, but I know which of the two parties still have an iota of brain cell left.
I mean c’mon, fiscal policies and the like are not that effective in controlling the modern economy any longer its now a pseudo global market,(Once Africa is involved then we've got a global market) ask any economist who knows anything about macroeconomic/ microeconomic planning. All this bollocks about local taxes, local accountabilty just smacks of pure nonesense!!! They bloody ushered in those complex tax systems during that cartoonist era of John Major so what now???
In regards to stating which policies between Labour/Tory benefits blacks I believe Labour is the better of the two devils based purely on economic policies. When it comes to social policies don't tell me you'll also vote the conservatives? Michael Howard don't like blacks and don't want to see ya face or my face around in Britain, you hear? if he had his way you'll be forced to assimilate whilst the port of entry to blacks at the borders will be closed to your relatives!
The conservatives are a bunch of old twats with their heads stuck up too far up their own asses! Nahh the conservative party is big ol' joke.
I understand you though back in the days young graduates used to prefer their economic policies as it "appeared" to be Meritocratic -sort of a level playing field for all, compared to old labour and socialism. But trust me New Labor and their blasted spin doctahs have put a spin on things and the conservatives are there playing catch up! Its a joke!
Don't even get me started about that git called bumbling Boris!

The trouble is bredda man,
You seem to think that by alligning yourself to the conservative party, proves that your blackness is not an issue with them.
Look back my friend.. It wasn't long ago that a MR JOHN TAYLOR (a good friend of yours no doubt) was put up to contest the SAFEST tory seat in the country.... AND LOST IT!!! (by a landslide)
"Memba Dat" (translated = remember that)
Listen, i ain't sayin' that any of the other parties is down with thebreddas but the TORY party is just a suited up BNP... lets look at the tory manifesto..Nah let me guess
