At a London press conference, Livingstone expressed understanding for the motivations of Palestinian suicide bombers in Israel (where suicide bombers have struck at such strategic targets as pizza parlours ) , saying that since the "Palestinians don't have jet fighters, they only have their bodies to use as weapons. In that unfair balance, that's what people use."
It is foolish political correctness to deny it, for support for such tactics anywhere cannot be contained in a vacuum. Mr Livingstone's main concern is that people denounce the London bombings. But terror is now global, so the message on killing civilians should be similarly universal.

Ken Livingstone, Robin Cook, Glenda Jackson, George Galloway etc...are all speaking out, but not many people are listening or telling other people.
But and it's a big but....I wouldn't trust Livingstone if he told me it was midnight, I'll open the cutains myself and have a look.
He has become nothing more than a trojan horse to squeeze more money out of Londoners pockets, anything he does with congestion charging can be implimented nationwide. Transport act 2000 read it and weep.
What has he done apart from loads of mini festivels around Trafalgar Square? Or outside of Westminster? I don't want to hear about olympics.
But that's to much information for people, so just love him.smoking-devil
The world's full of them..... and you know it!

Lee Jasper and Ken Livingstone welcomed this man to London in July 2004. Here he is in his own words on the subject of suicide bombings, speaking on Newsnight, on BBC National television on 7 July 2004:

" ... It's not suicide, it is martyrdom in the name of God, Islamic theologians and jurisprudents have debated this issue. Referring to it as a form of jihad, under the title of jeopardising the life of the mujahideen. It is allowed to jeopardise your soul and cross the path of the enemy and be killed ..."
(Source: BBC Newsnight transcript).
Here is what happened in London on 7 July 2005:
In October 2003, Lee Jasper and Ken Livingstone banned this man from appearing on the platform of a "Black History Conference":
Professor Tony Martin has no record of advocating, endorsing or supporting acts of terrorism, but is a Professor of Africana Studies and generally acknowledged as the planet's leading authority on the life and work of The Right Excellent Marcus Mosiah Garvey.
Why did Livingstone and Jasper welcome Sheikh Yusef al-Qaradawi to London, but ban Professor Tony Martin from speaking at a Black History Conference 10 months earlier?

always speak truth and avoid spreading falsehood in order to support your twisted agenda.
Al Qaradawi was questioned on and spoke of the situation in palestine and no other context with reference to the interview with the bbc. he has spoken again with reference to the occurences in the uk and has condemned them.

Please can we have details of al-Qaradawi's condemnation of this:

Can someone also explain why al-Qaradawi was welcomed to London by Jasper and Livingstone, while Professor Tony Martin - the world's leading authority on the life and work of Marcus Mosiah Garvey - was banned from speaking at a Black History Conference by the same two men.

Whether he condemned it or not, why is this so important.
These days i find that when anybody accepts that the fighting in palistine is fair retaliation, people want to attach meaning to 9/11 and 7/7.
Ken Lvingstone also stated before how he thought if was unfair that those that leave the UK to go and fight for the Israeli army are not condemned and are elcomed back. However, those that do the same but instead fight on the side of Palistine, Iraq or Afghanistan are condemned, imprisoned and ostrocised. This is a double standard.

you have made accusations against a person that you know nothing about. secondly you are not bothered to seek out the truth but are quite happy to wallow in your ignorance.
you can find the information that you requested at the following link.
