I'd say today only a fraction of young adults are working in America period.

Most are either living off of somebody (parents, friends, boy/girl friend, spouse), on welfare, getting disablity, in jail, homeless, or in some illegal hustle.

But those actually supporting themselves with a job are probably only 20%.

It's cheaper to keep a ready supply of cheap labor by paying the people minimum wages and welfare, than make sure 100 million people getdecent wages and benefits.

People aren't necessarily living on benefits, but mostly living off of other people.

People in their 30s and 40s going back and forth living off their parents and relatives.

Bumming around and living off their girlfriends and boyfriends, selling dope, hustling.

Don't forget we got about 4 million people locked up in prisons and jails.

Millions homeless.

Millions in hospitals and other institutions and thousands killing themselves and getting killed every day.

It's a rat race out there.
