TV host urges US to kill Chavez
US religious broadcaster Pat Robertson has called for the US to assassinate Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.
Mr Robertson caused controversy with the comments on his TV show, describing Mr Chavez as "a terrific danger".

I don't know why people are calling this punk a Christian fundamentalist...like if its something NEW......its not, this kind of things has been going on forever even with the most so called liberal governments of US or UK.........this is how white politicians thinks, and this is how they managed to wipe off most of our leaders before....they are very one minded in protecting their assets, and the black world would be different by now if most our leaders thoughts like this before the whites got to them first, it would have taught them how to protect themselves or actually get to kill the enemies first, instead of sitting around waiting to be taken out like dogs.

Methinks it's one of those stunts the government puts out there to test the public mood and opinion. Then they can take a hard but less extreme stance towards Chavez and still be seen to be reasonable and compromising because "at least they aren't killing him". This just puts the idea out there that 'something must be done'

I didn't think much about Pat Roberston in the past and I really don't think much of the him now. I'vealwasy thought that Pat was one of the right wingers who preached hatred, but I didn't think that that this low-life would stoop so low to tell us to assassinate somebody--Hugo Chavez in thiscase. I've heard about Hugo and with him, I know that this guy is Anti White (though his wife is White) and have been having problems politically. I don't know everything about this guy, but if he's really fighting to give land back to poor Venezuelans, I'm all for it. You look in other South American countries like Colombia and they would love a man like him. Black and Indian Colombianfarmer have been stripped of their land by the druglords and many of them have gotten killed as a result of it. Although I'm not for bigotry, I'am for people who are fighting for the rights of the poor. He may be a so-so man, but the poor Venezuelans should be able to re-acquire their rightful property.

Why did Mr. Robertson Stoop that low to say that. Is he afraid that he's losing power? Think about it. Look What happended in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and recently ,Israel with the Palenstanians reclaiming their settlements. Is he afraid that one day that maybe the Native Americans will be able to re-claim their rightful country?! I think that he is. Whether or not they are successful in doing it, I just thought that what Pat said was lower than dirt and the people is right what he said is terrroristic. It's no worse than what Osama bib-Laden say about terrorizing London , Israel or the US. and yes I think the terrorism alert should be used on him because somebody especially a Venezuelan can argue that he made a terroristic threat to another man.I've always said that if you hear a person say something on that level you need to be cautious of them because they may just try it.

I don't know why Bush and the administration is trying to disassociate themselves with this man because they have made similar comments. It's ironic. I've just posted something about Republicans and Christianity. If Pat Robertson was a true Christian he would tell Hugo to handle thing diplomatically and to forgive him and id Bush was a Chrisitian as him as his "sanctified" administration claim to be, they would tell him not to say that and to forgiev him. The only reason why he wants to back off is because of his anti-terrorism laws and how it 's putting their feet in their mouth and how it may hurt their image.
