Five guilty of Mary-Ann's murder

Five men have been found guilty of murdering Mary-Ann Leneghan after she was kidnapped, raped, and tortured.


Adrian Thomas, 20, Jamaile Morally, 22, his brother Joshua Morally, 23, and Llewellyn Adams, 24, all from south London, were convicted on Friday.
Earlier in the trial 19-year-old Michael Johnson, of Southfields, pleaded guilty to murdering the 16-year-old, from Reading in Berkshire. No murder verdict has yet been reached on Indrit Krasniqi, 18, of Chiswick.


Stab wounds
Mary-Ann and her 18-year-old friend were abducted in central Reading last May before being taken to a guest house where they were raped and tortured. They were then driven to Prospect Park to be killed. Mary-Ann died from repeated stab wounds while her friend, who cannot be named, was shot in the head but survived. Thomas, of Battersea, was found guilty of attempted murder, kidnap, rape of Mary-Ann, rape of Mary-Ann's friend and assault on the friend.

Jamaile Morally, of Balham, was also found guilty of attempted murder, kidnap, rape of Mary-Ann, rape of Mary-Ann's friend and assault on the unnamed girl.
He was also found guilty of an additional count of rape on the older girl.
His brother, Joshua Morally, also of Balham, was convicted of attempted murder and the rape of both girls.


He previously admitted to kidnap and assault on the older girl.
Michael Johnson earlier admitted to the murder of Mary-Ann, her friend's attempted murder and to kidnapping both girls.


Deliberations to continue
Johnson was found guilty on Friday of raping both girls and of assault on the older girl. The gang's driver, Adams, of Balham, was also found guilty of attempted murder and kidnap of both girls, but was cleared of rape and assault.
The jury have yet to return verdicts for Indrit Krasniqi in relation to murder, attempted murder and rape, but he was convicted of other charges of rape and assaulting Mary-Ann's friend.


All six men were cleared of other charges of raping Mary-Ann.
Mr Justice Penry-Davey sent the jury home for the weekend and asked them to return on Monday to continue their deliberations.

It doesnt seem to me that these guys were sure it was he girls who set them up, and I dont think you could commit crime of tis leevl nless you atre 100%

Thee whole things should never have happened, if there dumb asian friend had just called 5 0 when she saw them being bundled into the car. I was ' unaware of the danger'. Of course you were, they sure are dumb up there

What I didnt realise was that Mary-Anns friend was dating the ringleader Adrian Thomas when he was alledgedly set up by her

I would hazzard a guess and say you are white yes? I can't think of any other explanation as to why you would come out with that bundle of tripe.You know full well that the British media is quick to let us know when a perpetrator is non-white or non-British. If we don't see their picture plastered all over the front page we read stuff like "The African-born...." or "The unemployed Spanish waiter".....etc. etc. So don't play dumb now....or should I say don't live up to your dumbness now.

The only reason we haven't seen these guys yet is to do with reporting restrictions during the trial (that or because they are white). Believe we will get the full low down on these guys once the media is free to do so. Furthermore, if they are black be prepared to get their family history going back a couple of generations at least.

Yeah, yeah we know all societies have their undesirables of course there are white on white murders, that fact is not in dispute. The point I want to make is that there are so many black on white murders, 35 in Birmingham alone last year, why are they kept quiet?

That 35 came to light from WM police during their breakup of the BNP vigil for white victims of inter-racial murder which was held in Brum city centre last December.

On a pro-rata basis your murder rate is inter-stellar compared to the rest of the world, all over the world!
