Swing developed multiple myeloma, a rare cancer of the bone marrow, in June 2004, and had been at the centre of a high profile search for a life saving marrow donor, with Channel 4 following his search in the documentary 'Saving DJ Swing'
The DJ and is family however receive some good news when last November he had a transplant with a 90% bone marrow match.
The transplant procedure went well with no complications, but in the last couple of weeks his health deteriorated.

Very sad...............................shouts out to all his family and friends.
