A COUNCILLOR has posed naked on a website, handling his private parts and revealing his sexual fantasies.

Lib Dem Charles Anglin has admitted making himself available for sex with other men via the net.

The Lambeth councillor, who also stood as the party's parliamentary candidate for Vauxhall in the last General Election, has boasted of his sexual prowess on the website and revealed he gets an erotic kick wrestling other men.

In one picture he posted on the site, too explicit to publish in a family newspaper, he was wearing just a gold necklace while gripping his private parts in his hand.

In a profile next to the picture he said he is a single, gay man interested in meeting other men for one-onone sex.

He then revealed wrestling was his favourite sexual activity and added: "If you can wrestle then you are on to a winner.

"In fact I've quite a thing for wrestling, serious or sexy, beginners or experienced, if you are up for a little sweaty rough and tumble you can move right ahead of the queue."

Cllr Anglin, goes under the name "...Bullseye" on the internet site.

The South London Press uncovered the pictures and profile on the Gaydar website this week after an anonymous tip-off.

When we viewed the councillor's profile on Monday it contained the explicit picture and descriptive text.

But the day after the picture had been removed and the sexual content toned down.

Cllr Anglin admitted he had posted the picture and words on the web-site, which does not require a subscription to view.

He said: "I don't see this is an issue - it is my private life.

"I am a libertarian. I don't see what the fuss is about.

"Anyone who reads my profile will see that it is written in a fairly humourous way where I talk about who I am, my personal taste and the things that I don't like.

"The fact is we are a month away from the local elections and people think they might be able to cause some kind of embarrassment.

"I am a gay man and I've always been open about my sexuality."

When asked whether he thought he had behaved appropriately for someone in the public eye by advertising himself for sex on the website Cllr Anglin again stressed that it was a private matter.

Opposition Labour councillor Dan Sabbagh said: "This has nothing to do with the councillor's sexuality, and of course he is entitled to a private life just as we all are, but posing naked on a website is surprising conduct for an elected representative."

Lambeth's Liberal Democrat leader, Cllr Peter Truesdale said the pictures were a private matter.

He added: "It's time we talked about what is important, zero council tax, cleaner streets and new school places."
