This article was really DUMB! I'm shocked that a PhD would endorse such a dumb movement.
14th Amendment to US Constitution:
Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
Anyone interested in American History knows why Afro-Americans are Citizens of the USA, knows about the Freedmen's Bureau and the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments to the United States Constitution. If any one group has earned their Citizenship it is African Descendents in the USA.
Wow, what a waste of time, this movement. I can think of 20 actual worthwhile causes in Ohio that they would be better served by their attentions.

Like Masai said.....on paper, the amendments he mentioned grant citizenship to American born Africans......
Only really really uneducated kids would read this article and not think of that first......
then I noticed that he(the author of article)didn't even make reference to these amendments....I just stopped reading..he woud have had something to stand on had he mentioned thateven after passage of these amendments that jim crow laws blocked the full rights of these black citizens...but he didn't even get that far.......
Kids who talk that "**** a book" shit..or don't take THEIR history seriously.....are gonna be puppets to dudes like this....
so Kids, keep laughing, thinking everything is all good, watch television and continue to be prey for dudes like this
