This is scary, espcially being in the U.S.


Nigerians say loudly to anyone who cares to listen that we are a blessed nation. One of our gifts is our population, well – may it continue to be so. We need to learn from the mistakes of people whose lifestyle and habits we are rapidly acquiring. I do not know how many people have heard of “the great British sperm disaster�. It is true that top scientists in Britain have discovered that sperm count in men have crashed. The trend is being closely monitored and it is a source of great concern.

I read that African governments have banned the use of genetically modified food from the US and the West who are relentlessly fighting them to accept it. The west have no credibility or accountability for what they send to the continent and we don't know WHAT is in those genetically modified food, so in accepting it Africa would only be blamed by the west for any ill side effects it may cause as "they only tried to help us".

It concerns me that they send these foods and stuff to the Motherland but my greatest fear is being here in the U.S. with little option from these foods.

I pray that I will one day be ok to import most of what I eat. We, the African communities should cater for ourselves by importing and selling these food items to our own and those that care at reasonable prices FOR OUR HEALTHS' SAKE!
