Man slashed in row over two dogs
A man had three fingers cut off and his left arm almost severed by a meat cleaver after rowing with two men about their dogs not being on leads.
The victim, 39, had remonstrated with the men for failing to control their animals after they started biting him.
The man was followed by the pair, who goaded the dogs into attacking him before slashing him with the cleaver.
The attack happened in Shepherds Bush, west London, on Tuesday. Police said his injuries were "horrific".
He is very lucky to be alive and although his injuries are horrific I fear they could have been a lot worse Det Con John Stewart
The victim had been walking in Jeddo Road at about 2030 BST when the animals, a Great Dane and a Staffordshire Terrier, started biting his ankles.
When he shouted at the men to put them on leads, he was followed into Kinnear Road, where the dogs were set on him.
One of the men produced a meat cleaver and slashed at him, causing deep head wounds.
Tendon damage
Three of the victim's fingers on his left hand were severed and one little finger later had to be amputated.
His left arm was almost severed at the elbow and there were several cleaver wounds to the backs of his legs leaving him with severe tendon damage to his legs and elbow.
The man managed to get into the garden of a house and raise the alarm by tapping on a window.
His attackers, described as black, about 5ft 7in tall, and in their mid- to late-twenties, fled the scene.
Det Con John Stewart said: "This was a truly deplorable attack on the victim which was completely uncalled for.
"He is very lucky to be alive and although his injuries are horrific I fear they could have been a lot worse."
MEAT CLEAVER!!!!! Those guys were looking for someone to trouble. Who carries a meat cleaver out with them whilst walking the dogs without leads?
The dude has no fingers left on his left hand, just his thumb. Whatever career he had is over. And for what?? These guys need to be off the streets. Police are treating it as attempted murder

I would like to know whether or not other members of the Village consider this to be true ... with evidence.

On that point, I was going to ask if anyone has seen this on the tv news yet? Cashmoney's two post articles (without any source links) is the only thing I have heard about it. Something like this would be breaking news - such a vicious and mindless act - surely?

Additionally, I would like to know how many members of the Village have heard about the crime to which I drew attention earlier in the thread in response to one of the moderator's assertions that "the world is getting worse" which has been deleted by the people responsible for running this website.

Backatya: The story of the man who had his fingers hacked off and this Arm almost severed at the Elbow was widely reported on the London news radios... I also heard that they detain a man for this offence..

I first read of this on a white nationalist website and thought it was bogus as they were claiming it was blacks committing this crime. I was unable to verify that they were black, but I did feel reasonably sure that it was a true story. I am not sure where I cross referrenced it from, but I did.

How many Villagers had heard of or read about the crime to which I drew attention on this thread before the post was deleted by the owners of the website?
