David Cameron today vowed to break up Muslim ghettos in Britain's cities.

The Tory leader said Islamic schools should in future admit a quarter of their pupils from other faiths. And he said that housing estates should be planned to avoid creating isolated communities.

"Communities where people from different backgrounds never meet, never talk, never go into each others' homes,î said the Tory leader.

Mr Cameron said that children should be taught "the core components of British identity - our history, our language, our institutions".

Before people state the obvious by saying they aint 'muslims' they should remember this outragous statement above won't just be limited to Muslims... However for it begs the obvious questions..how does he (Cameron) intend to 'break up so called Ghetto's? Think about that for moment ....Is he going to DIRECT people where to live or where they can buy houses? Impose a quota system for certain areas?

Secondly when he talks about Muslim sChool being FORCED to admit a quote of non Muslim pupils... I wonder does he plan to extend this policy to all the JEWISH schools in Manchester, and NORTH London too (i bet you he won't)... But if anything it will put a nail i the coffin of anyone stupid enough to still imagine that any ALL black school would work effectively in this country..it won't!!

When Cameron talks about 'our history, our insitutions and Our language' I had to do a double take for a moment...what does he imgaine they teach now? Is this the single that the what little and it i very little African culture seeping into Education will now be withdrawn all together.... If you think our children are disaffected now, or Brain washed out of their skin now...give it five years of this bulldo do and see us disappear as aculture in the UK.....

Unfortunately we have heard this rhetoric before, in slightly different guises for decades now, and no amount of half hearted legislation will change the path that some ( but not all parts of Britain) are heading down. Yes there are tension points like lozelles ( with the blacks and Asians) but there are also success stories that you never hear about because…

While I agree with your arguments, what should the British government do about extremist Muslims? From what I have read, the British government came down hard on IRA terrorists (including incarcerating innocent men for many years).That strategy seems to have worked now that the IRA claims to be giving up violence totally.

Unfortunately for Muslims, they are being painted with the broad brush of terrorists due to the actions of a few bad eggs.

Firstly this isn't about tackling extremism or anything like that, it's just another political opportunist trying to get the vote of disillusioned white working and middle classes.Notice how everyone who is in line to run for the next election is taking the tough stance on immigration and multiculturalism.The very cause of this is not muslims but rather the emergence of the B.NP who are saying everything the average white man who is concerned that his "british culture" and "white country" is being turned into foreign country ie melanie phillips "londonistan".Know regarding this whole integration/assimilation debate this reminds of the ancient phrase "when in rome do as the romans do" why?, because the whole debate is dictated from one side and the ethnic minorities are not been given a chance.Was it not a couple of weeks ago that the someone posted on the blacknet villages that a large percentage of whites do not even want a a black neighbour.How does one integrate nobody has even defined this or atleast mr cameron and brown have.But think about ithow do they except people to go into white peoples houses when they are deserting london and other main cities when they see the increase of ethnic minorities?How do you except someone who lives in brixton, acton or southall to fully integrate into british culture.Am not arguing it can't be done however integration has to go both ways.The british people want everyone to imimate them and drop their cultures this is a no go especially for muslims.Also i have never heard of the term "muslims ghetto" and i have never come across such an idea.Even the so called muslim community is deeply divided along nationalistic lines.Which is an error to assume that there is one muslim community because there is no such thing.When i see an area full of pakistanis i don't think this a muslim ghetto rather an asian/pakistani area.For example southall is dominated by asians everyone jokes about this but there is also a large somali and paksitani community what kind of ghetto is this somali, pakistani, indian, or "sikh,hindu,muslims ghetto"?What about harlesden and the surrounding areas how does mr attempt to ban this ghetto.Is he telling us he will force white people or more correctly british people to migrate to southall and brick lane?I highly doubt that this empty promise will turn into action.Simple fact is that people of similar race, culture and religion like to congregate into the same areas.I doubt any tory will change this.oh yeah and how many of you will send you kids to a "islamic school"?lol.or how many muslims will send their kids to a jewish school?
