Schools that are rated by inspection teams as "outstanding" get a mention in each year's report.

I hope all those parents who put their children through numerous exams to get them into "good" schools are reading.


If we do not have an accurate analysis of the problem, we cannot possibly develop a good strategy to resolve it.

Leaving aside the inevitable debate about the meanings of 'average' 'mean' and 'median', I'd be deeply worried about a report saying that anything other than half were below average.
