THIS is the first picture of the uncle charged with the rape and murder of his two-year-old niece.

Uncle Michael Patrick Mullen, 21, allegedly assaulted Casey Mullen in her bed as her mum chatted downstairs.

He is now being held in tight security amid fears he’ll be attacked by other inmates.

The uncle of two year old Casey Leigh Mullen, whose body was found in a pool of blood on her own bed, was today jailed for life after pleading guilty to her rape and murder. The court heard how police found an image of the little girl, naked from the waist down, on Mullen's phone. In the four months before the murder, Mullen also downloaded sexual images of children onto his computer - including one scene of sadism
