Dada - wrong?, man I don't know. I look at this two fold, one, if this was wrong, Toyin has a track record of doing it right and forever falling on deaf ears....just look at his face man! And two, you have to check the audience man....there will probably never be a better opportunity. I mean I worked close enough with some of the guys who ran MTVBase in the UK and I would mention it to them about an one to one interview (black man to black man) with Ligali cos I know Toyin always tried to get them to broadcast some of their content after the watershed - this was me appreciating both sides of the fene in terms of business on one side and militancy on the other....but the Queen, Tony Blair, all those church figure heads and the national media...man they say you have to be in it to win it and Ligali won it for me today. He didn't even have to say a word..just being there and walking out was great. Bravo!

That newsnight report was a complete shambles man. how they gonna drag up some random asian bigot to talk about something that has nothing to do with him or his people. And he did that typical shit that most white people do when you mentioned slavery. First off he went to "black people sold their own people into slavery" then he took it to "it was over two hundred years ago, no need to apologies, apology won't do anything "then there was that classic "we should be looking at eachother as equals" bollox.
Kiss Teet!!!

Well today I won't quote scriptures, I'll just quote the line from the movie Gladiator Lbighairlol""Is Rome (insert Africa)worth one good man's life? We believed it once. Make us believe it again. He was a soldier of Rome (Insert Africa). Honour him."
Quote two: " The slave who became a gladiator. The gladiator who defied a Queen". TOYIN !!!!
Today I saw a slave become more powerful than the Emperor of Rome.
They should have said sorry properly. Serve dem right.
Bigup Toyin.
We could change the world, If God would give us the source code.

Nah everyone was saying "Gwan Toyin" and stuff and posting newspaper clippings and I have done my research but I still don't know what a "Sorry" is going to achieve

I hear ya Incognito. But as a royalist, I am not condoning insulting our head of state to make a point.
If it were in Parliement, or House of Lords great but in a place of Worship no.
Ahh well I suppose the moral of the act was:

self promotion.......
NOT !!!!
This is a protest that I can respect from a man I respect loads.
The security issue is something for them to worry about, we are not MI5. If he had been a terrorist he could have popped Queen and Blair though
Lucky he was not in the US as they would have shot him and asked questions later. If at all

Dada - I can well and see your point. Toyin is clearly passionate in his endeavours and I've always held a reservation that he is probably over passionate which could play havoc on his strategy but in the context of an insult, if showing how disrespected or insulted you feel is to show and give back that same disrespect and insult in equal magnitude, I shake Toyins hand...I can relate, I had to do a similar thing with the ex wife. Indeed the message is probably more a case of if you feel disrespected or insulted now, then magnify that a thousand times and then maybe, just maybe, you will begin to appreciate the disrespect and insult you have shown to my values, my pride my dignity and my ancestry.
Africans have been fighting for freedom and the abolition of slavery since the very first was enslaved...in its most basic concept this celebration is just another illustration of babylon trying to claim something stolen as their own to champion everything white. In his actions, his targeted audience and his message, Toyin was spot on!
I've had it to the teeth with people judging other people on their money as opposed to the values behind that money....this is where the wife failed big time. Protestors from different races all over the world will identify with Toyin as a protestor but only those sharing the values behind his protest will identify with him as a man.

Toyin gets full props from me and a big salute.
Though I couldn't see myself doing the same thing (forvariousreasons) I fully support the action he took andhave heaps ofrespect for the man for continually showing his passion and belief in the 'Cause' and that he is not just a talker but a doer willing to lead by example.
To you Bro clp)clp)clp)clp)
Respect
There are those who feel that the only way to ‘prove their own worth’ is by ‘devaluing the worth of others’. You will often find that a man who is compelled to measure his substance against the substance of another, has little of substance in the first place!
