I really wanted to thank you all for the love and support expressed from the village.
The level of emails and calls of solidarity from Africans across the world is incredible.
It would be good if some of us can go on other websites, radio phone in shows and express solidarity to debunk the 'lone madman' theory the media is putting out by distorting the facts and claiming that I ran, that I 'gatecrashed' the event, that I ranted, claimed I said I was being taken like a 'black slave' that I called our people 'traitors to the race', etc.
But people please, please keep an eye out for the coconuts, those who truly have the welfare of our people at heart will understand the need for unity at this time and will stand unequivocally beside me and defend my actions irrespective of massa seeking them to condemn Africans and be good little 'blacks'.
Trevor Philips, Simon Woolley and now John Sentamu have played their hand. Please be vigilant and report back any other descendants of those who were likely to have colluded with the British slavers during the Maafa.
What I did was nothing compared to the actions of Nanny, Boukman, Sam Sharpe, Queen Nzinga, Yaa Asantewaa, Malcolm X, the list goes on with the millions of African freedom fighters who lost their lives and endured the Maafa on the Continent, the Middle Passage and the forced labour camps in the Caribbean and Americas. The police asked me in the interview if I would do it again. I said if the circumstances were the same and they showed the same level of disrespect and contempt for our ancestors then YES I would.
Expect ideological warfare over the next few days.
We are only here because of our ancestors, they birth us, they guide us, and they will protect us in life and the hereafter.
Peace, love and revolution.

Maximum RESPECT TOYIN
If we do not have an accurate analysis of the problem, we cannot possibly develop a good strategy to resolve it.

I respect Henry Bonsu for supporting Toyin.
That was a noble thing of Him to do.
Will Toyin be doing the same thing in Ghana and Nigeria this year given what we know about Afrcian involvement in the Slave trade?
I believe Ghana is marking the Occasion but not sure if it's on Nigeria's radar.

Hello Toyin
That was really brave thing to do especially in this day and age which the society looks like its been sedated.
Now have you had any contacts with CHANNEL 4 NEWS?
I am sure that LIGALI has media strategies department and since the issue has gone mainstream i am sure many out there will be asking questions.
Since demonisation started last night on Newsnight with a 5 minute segment (the brotha did well) but whats needed now is a proper "HASBARA" to counter everything
I am aware some members are willing to make donations and so on i think they should contact the right people in PM there in Ligali and i am sure Ligali can Capitalise on this issue and maybe have an online Radio Show...if its a problem then Sattelite is the way to go like SIRUS radio.
To BNV members:
You can help ligali not only through finance but they might also need new media co-ordinators,web designers and so on as this is not a one off.
Iam not sure if Ligali has a PAYPAL but they do then that should notbe a problem

I over heard an African lady (who attended the farce) talking about what happened on the phone. She said she and many others agreed with Toyin and felt shame for being there and not supporting him.
I personally haven't stopped emailing the story to very single African i know.I am so proud.
Hi Coltrane.... Ligali do have paypal account.... personally i setup a standing order over a year ago paid to Ligali monthly... i am also 100% committed to support financially or otherwise.

I saw it the tv yesterday, I applaud Toyin for having the conviction to speak up, as for the security......there was not one single person in that church that presented any security risks.
Was the location of a church the right place? yes, maybe they will think about what was said to them.
The world's full of them..... and you know it!

To an extent I agree with Toyin concerning us counteracting the foolishness the media propogate about afrikans on radio shows.
I have to admit thats something I do not do a lot, and I do listen to various shows.
However I know for a fact that whenever you ring in to certain shows , they won't put you through unless you have your tongue up the presenters backside, eg vanessa the elephant feltz
