I was greatly saddened that The Voice Newpaper chose to ignore what Toyin had done. It is a disgrace.

Tony Sewell; was the only person to mention what Toyin had done and confined it to the idea that he was a Heckler, or a "Mad Person". This is disingenuious.

While I was not a fan of what Toyin had done; or rather where and when he had done it, having read in the New Nation that what he did amounted to a spate of "Moral Tourettes" i.e a spontanous act which was not premeditated. In that context I can and will Congratulate him. Having suffered from the same syndrome myself .

That Sewell cannot put personalities to the side and down play what Toyin did and attempt to rubbish it reallysaddens me as this is the enemy withinrather thanout. I don't have much truck with Europeans and what they do, as I look to myself and my community to effect change and progress. That's why for me anapology from Europeans is not a big deal.

What is a Big Deal is the character assaination and WHITEWASHING of somebody who's heart and passion was in theright place, albeit for me in the wrong place. I don't know what the deal is between Ligali & Blacknet vis a vis The Voice, and all too often they put down the Black community and attempt to make us look dumb.

Their agenda is not plain to see.confused3no doubt their founder is rolling in his grave .

There was no reason to WHITEWASH his Protest other than to put down an erstwhile Man who felt compelled to do what he saw as the right thing.

This is what I really cannot tolerate Black People going out of their way to put down other Black people who have at their core the hopes and aspirations of a larger members of the community.

Elequence has lost me; to read what this Person has written defies comprehension. It's totally shameful and unprincipled.

It is time that Blacknet and Ligali started to take themselves more seriously and promote their media platforms more heavyly as we serioulsly need a counter weight to Media that proports to respresent us.

Both web sites need to raise the profile of their websites and start taking advertising revenue away from the discredited Voice, which is in effect subsidised by the Public Sector (through their Job Advertise and social Services advertisements) .
