German army recruit ordered to pretend he was shooting African Americans

German army in 'racist video' row The German army has faced a series of scandals in recent years A video aired on German TV has shown an army recruit on firing practice being ordered to pretend he was in New York's Bronx facing hostile African Americans. In the grainy 90-second video, the instructor tells the soldier to swear as he fires his gun.
US civil rights leader, Al Sharpton, said it was outrageous to depict blacks as "target practice".
New York officials say they are saddened and frustrated that the Bronx district is depicted so negatively.
"Clearly these folks don't know anything about African-Americans or the Bronx," said Bronx borough president Adolfo Carrion Jnr, who recently returned from a trip to Germany to promote tourism to the district.
He has demanded an apology from the Germany military over the clip.
Skulls
During the filmed training session, an instructor tells the soldier: "You're in the Bronx, a black van pulls up in front of you and three African-Americans get out and start really insulting your mother... act!".
The soldier then fires his gun several times and shouts obscenities in English, as the instructor encourages him to curse even louder.
The clip was filmed in a forest in July 2006, near the barracks of the northern German town of Rendsburg .
The German army said it has been aware of the video since January and was investigating it.
It is the latest in a series of scandals to hit the German military.
A group of 18 army instructors are on trial in the country accused of abusing and humiliating recruits during training in 2004.
Last year, German newspapers published images of German soldiers serving in Afghanistan posing with skulls.

Not really surpising when you take into account their history and the racial principles that many of them still hold.

These stories wouldn't be so frustrating to me as an Afro-American, if I knew our people were doing stuff to stregnth ourselves. Instead when I turn on the television I'll seerappers doing a concert spreading more of these ideals aboutwhat it means to be AA to our childrenas well as others..........

An 'urban' not 'black' culture that promotes the pursuit of fashionable designer lables that cost an arm and a leg, but doesn't promote the education to get the lables, an 'urban' culture that promotes 'tribalism' but doesnt encourage 'togetherness' an 'urban' culture that promotes 'violance gun and knive' use but doesnt encourage 'cooperation' an 'urban' culture that promotes inarticulat and foul language' but doesn't encourage 'discussion' an 'urban' culture that promotes 'slackness and dissrespect for women' but doesn't promote 'family and loyalty' an 'urban' culture that promotes 'materialistic pride' but doesnt promote 'racial pride'....yes you read right RACIAL PRIDE it's not a word just for white people.

Far too many are dazzled by what appears to be an exciting life-style. They go on about the 'family' and the sense of 'togetherness' they feel with other of their gang, crew.

My question is ''Where is their biological family''?

Throughout all the mouthing off within the black community, people still don't want to recognise the harm that some of this cr@p is causing them and their kids. It's like the rhythm and bass-line is so hypnotic that people will dissregaurd the majour problems it is causing.

I think its time for people to 'back up' what they are saying by not bying this 'music' untill they (they the people behind the music) get themselves together and start promoting a more positive image for our kids.

that's weird..thought it was a thread about german training video....

I'd guess that European concepts and views about America are informed by movies more than anything....and internationally syndicated tv shows

Mimai vice is and was very popular show in germany .......and I'm certain many 70s era...early 80s era films depictng a Bronx landscape that resembled a war torn city.....are permanently etched into people's minds....

Just like cold war era american depictions of Russia are forever burned in many minds over here...

I bet lot of Germans think Blacks here are like Eddie Murphy or other stuff they've seen in American films that do big numbers over there.

To keep it 100% real though.....I have friends in military and they train these guys using all kinds of racial slurs about "the enemy". You may catch a completely brainwashed Black vet that still says stuff like that....and I have.

This kind of stuff goes down here.....can't say that I'm shocked that it goes down over in Deutschland. I walked the streets over there..saw skinheads and all that.

Just one thing, a skinhead is not neccessarily a racist. Type it on Wiki. It's a cultute with some ties in Jamaica. The first skinheads listened to ska and other jamaicanmusic genres. So jusy because you see a skinhead doesn't mean he is racist. But that mightdepend where you are as well.

I assume you mean the "inner city comment",, where she said that young blacks could go to school if they wanted to, since it's FREE. And she has definittely put some HEAT on rappers, labels and BETetc. As a matter of facts Ludacris and 50cent have been waging a war on her for this.

No, it's because your generation is lazy and lacks values. You are the ones doing all theshyt. Oprah and Jesse's generations fought YT so that you could get some damn rights...and look who you are throwing them away. Damn this blame game has gone too damn far.

But me as a concerned AA person I found her comments towards her community quite offense considering our history. And Like in MOST OF AFRICA, Indians and Chinese people come in and in 1 generations prove that you don't have to be White to be sucessful its about HARD WORK and spending your money wisely(which apperently the Indians in South Africa have more of than Black Africans). And trust me, Indian South Africans seem to be managing to save money FOR THEIR CHILD's education no matter what. Free or not. And they faced the same apartheid that Africans there faced, the only difference was their race was classed as COLOURED.
