You make some good points.

I watched a programme called the wright stuff, Onna King amongst others were debating and I just thought what is her purpose? Really? I have also watched her debate on programmes such as the daily politics show and am left thinking why is she even an MP, along with thinking why Diane Abbott is not representing her constituent, she really enjoys her television role!

Yet it is King who infuriates me the most, her arguments always sound like she still regurgitates from social/public policy text books. She needs to establish a coherent political philosophy, because she is really embarrassing to watch. White people are so laughing at we.

I guess am fed up with black politicians as they are either pompous upper class wannabes or they would rather be on the media circuit or the 'exclusive' over priced pretentious dinner dances than do any real work for their community.

Ms Price, when you say "black politicians as they are either pompous upper class wannabes or they would rather be on the media circuit or the 'exclusive' over priced pretentious dinner dances than do any real work for their community" you seem to be forgetting that the black politicians you are berating are elected to represent ALL the people not just one colour. They are supposed to work for Asians, Whites and everybody else. Black MPs who just work for black people will not be in office long.

Second point, Oona King isn't an MP. Lovely smile though. She hasn't been an MP for a long time. She lost her seat at the last election, a seat where Asian voters have a big say. At the next election a Bangladeshi will probably run on the RESPECT ticket against Labour. Who knows, they might even win.

That is true. However if BME politicians are meant to represent all communities, why do asian MP's take care of their own first and then everyone else after? If black MPs who do work for black people have a risk of being booted out then they are obviously not doing their job to the best of their ability. They should know how to work a system to their advantage. It is easier said then done, however if the Asians can do it then so can black people. What are they scared of? Or is it more that they want to kiss the ass of white people, who in exchange will offer a nice salary?

Well that’s strange. As when she is introduced, it is MP Oona King. Doesn’t she have a constituent in tower and hamlets?

..oona king may not be an mp any more ( her
Constituency was taken over by George Galloway (that’s a side issue to discuss later perhaps). I’ve noticed that whenever onna goes on T.V. she never says a bad word about the ‘new labour’ party, perhaps she’s looking for a future roll some where ( in other words she doesn’t want to burn her bridges)

Asians I believe now make up the largest ethnic minority group ( at least the largest visible and successful ethnic minority ) so it seems that Asians are only representing Asians because there are so many of them…. A case study is George Galloway. He was elected ( got his seat from onna king ) by riding in on a ticket of appealing to mostly Asians, and going against the war…
