Race hate cleric Faisal deported

Race hate preacher Sheikh Abdullah al-Faisal, who influenced one of the 7 July bombers, has been deported from Britain, the home secretary said.

He left Gatwick for Jamaica at 1200 BST, accompanied by two police escorts and an immigration officer.
Al-Faisal, who is of Jamaican origin, lost his appeal against deportation.
He was jailed in 2003 for soliciting the murder of Jews and Hindus. London bomber Germaine Lindsay was "strongly influenced" by him, John Reid said.

3,000 deported
In a statement on Friday, Mr Reid said he was pleased that al-Faisal, 43, had been removed and excluded from the UK.
He said: "We are committed to protecting the public and have made it clear that foreign nationals who abuse our hospitality and break our laws can expect to be deported after they have served a prison sentence.
"We will not tolerate those who seek to spread hate and fear in our communities."
He added: "We will continue to prioritise the deportation of foreign national prisoners, having removed over 3,000 in the last year, as well as others whose presence in this country is non-conducive to the public good."
Al-Faisal's trial heard he spent years travelling the UK preaching racial hatred urging his audience to kill Jews, Hindus and westerners.


He was found guilty of three charges of soliciting the murder of Jews, Americans and Hindus and two charges of using threatening words to stir up racial hatred.
Last year Mr Reid told MPs that al-Faisal had influenced Jamaican-born Briton Lindsay, 19, who was responsible for the blast at King's Cross that killed 27 people.
Taped recordings of al-Faisal's lectures, which Lindsay listened to, were sold at specialist Islamic bookshops.
The tapes formed the basis of the prosecution's case in the 2003 Old Bailey trial of the Muslim convert, from Stratford, east London.
Al-Faisal was deported after reaching the parole date in his sentence and returns to Jamaica more than 20 years after he left.
He was born into a Christian family and christened Trevor William Forrest.

I was reading a new report on the thisislondon site about 6 months ago about an Irish or Scott man that is convicted of of crimes very similar inciting hate and murder of asians and Jews or similar. Well it was very hush hush and a very small picture of him was shown; he got only 18 months jail term.

by laughing at his misfortune it is quite easy to miss the underlining point of what happened to this fool and he is a fool just to be clear about this....

For me whilst i have no sympathy for this fool, I feel his treatment was harsh completely over the top, and in my view has set a serious benchmark that we all ought to be concerned about in the uk...very concerned about..

i wouldn’t laugh at him he has a lot of knowledge and understanding of metaphysics. He was just in the wrong crowd, he was egged on by idiots, and i believe them Asians never came to his defense, because most of them got him caught in the first place. i hope he see this betray and moves forward with his life.

i do not feel his treatment of deportation is harsh, anyone who CAN be deported should be. tired of these clerics brainwashing young men ranting about the ills of muslims when they receive state benefits from the same country they seek to destroy.

I 'm just trying to figure out how in the world these guys come up with the idea that Islam teaches their followers to take innocent people, hate people of different backgrounds and religions. From what I read and I was taught about it, it is the opposite( Mainly in the Surah of Quran).I 'm also baffled at the fact of " their" definition of jihad. When they meant jihad it only menat to defend yourselfwhen one have unjustlydowngraded against you( like in the case of 9/11, if we would have came to their country and did that to them). Jihad also means what we say here trail and tribulations that we deal with in our lives and things like 9/11. Where on earth did they come up with such crap is beyond me(?!?!).Islam is a religion that doesn't condone violence of any sort. For guys like that to go on a race-bait , nationalistic and religious " jihad"is beyond Allah/God would never condone that. Even in Christianity and if you're a real one, he would be respecting people in spite of their backgrounds. religion is just the name of group of people who is praising god, but anybody can praise god. I don't know what men like that call themselves praising other than Iblis( the devil), because it sure isn't god!
