A woman suffered a broken nose when she was attacked by another woman on a bus after brushing her with a newspaper.

The 62-year-old victim was attacked on the number 14 bus at Fulham Broadway, south-west London, and suffered extensive bruising.
Police have described the incident as "horrifying" and say the attacker had a small child with her at the time.
The suspect is described as a black female, aged approximately 30 yrs old. CCTV footage has also been released.
Following the contact between the two women, police said the attacker slapped her victim across the face, pulled her face down onto the seat by pulling her hair and knocked her to the floor.
She then stamped on her face before being pulled off by a male passenger during the incident last November.
The victim, whose first name, Sonia, has been released by police, needed surgery for her injuries.
Pc Jason Colby said: "This was a horrifying attack on a vulnerable woman for no reason other than a newspaper had brushed her arm."
"After the assault, the suspect was seen to be laughing as she left the bus and was clearly unconcerned for the welfare of the victim, she was also not concerned about the effect this assault may have had on the child in her care."

I would not be surprised to find out that this woman is under some care in the community programme or undergoing some form of psychiatric care. Most people would have attacked another person in such circumstances, so there has to be mental instability of some kind.

I remember an incident in a shopping car park when I was reversing intoa space. There was this woman putting her child (around 3/4 years old) into the car seat of a car next to the space I was parking into. I made sure, naturally, that I reversed slowly and well away from her....there was ample room for me to stay clear even with her door wide open. Imagine my shock when the woman came up to me as I was getting out and started ranting (cussing from the off) and asking if I didn't see them and if I was trying to run them over. I was like, of courseI did and I was no where near you...like confused3

Anyway the woman stayed in my face as I got out the car and pratically stood in front of me as if she wanted to rumble. I looked at her all bemused and just walked off shrugging my shoulders. I decided that I wasn't even going to bother arguing as I really felt if I carried on I would have had to give her a beat down to get out of the car park...wt???

Anyway didn't she proceed follow me almost to lift?Leaving her child in the back seat with the door still open, calling out and cussing all the way.

I was amazed and thought, what would happen if she had buck-up on some equally deranged guy, who didn't just walk away? What about the poor kid with her?

This world ain't right I tell you!

no the right wingers....relax,notinplying the lady in question should not go to jail.....just implying the ramification of describing an event as a frequented event........which is not true...and generates nothing but hysteria.....and as a scientist,logic over rules emotional reasoning.

Quite frankly,this womanis the scum of the earth. My concern is for the welfare of the young child. I wouldn't be surprised if the father is nowhere to be seen.

With "parents" like that, God knows how the next generation will end up...

There were two stories which broke yesterday, one about a father who battered his 2 year old daughter (she has since died) and the other about a father who killed 3 of his 4 children (the 4th was not with him at the time) by burning down the house.

Now the papers have put a lot of emphasis on the 'mental' or 'emotional' state of both fathers (in one case they talk about how one of the fathers was suffering from the trauma of an event that happened 20 years ago).

I wonder what 'conclusions' you woulddraw fromthese two cases???

Do you view all people with 'mental'problem (which this woman may well have) as the scum of the earth?

That being said there is an underlying attitude of, shall we say 'self-loathing and stereotyping, which one could infer from your statements.

Some people just crack me up. They trip over themselves to defend black people - no matter what their actions - JUST BECUASE THEY ARE BLACK.

The result?

People feel they can behave in the most dispicable ways and then play the race card to defend themselves. Children can behave like thugs, adults can intimidate and even physically attack others, and it's all justified because they are ALWAYS "victims" of racism or suffering from some form of "mental illness" caused by the government.

If this woman were to carry out a similar attack on an elderly lady in, say, Nigeria... they'd quickly identify her "mental disorder". The clinical name is 'F*cked up B*ch who attacks innocent people without provocation Disorder'.

They would set her straight - believe me.

African kids have more excuses than anyone else for bad behavior e.g poverty, unemployment, lack of prospectsetc and yet the African kids are often better behaved than their Western counterparts. Why? Because they can't hide behind every excuse in the book for bad behaviour.

They still know the meaning of respect - unlike these scum bags who are bringing shame on us all.

Take a ride on my bus (No 75 - through Lewisham) on a weekday and you'll see my point about the "next generation". It's Lord of the Flies London style - kids with no respect for anyone or anything... not even themselves.

And please don't pretend you don't know what I'm talking about. Anyone with two eyes and a functioning brain can see that there is an attitude problem in some parts of the black community that must be tackled.

Sorry Oblivion but it is possible that the woman is suffering from a mental illness, after all who batters another person like this woman did and be right in the head.

That said I agree that alot of excuses are made for our youth in particular...... but you make a statement that African kids are often better behaved that their western counterparts..... well maybe you should come and visit my school for a day let me introduce you to some right gems.
