41 year old Moses Ssendawula was found dead in Camberwell's Burgess Park just before 1.00 a.m. yesterday. He had been murdered by a gunshot wound to the chest.

MGL when I saw the title of this I thought police had shot someone, until I read the actual post

MGL tell me how can Operation Trident or any special operations of the police stop fools from shooting each other. Do you think in your Afrocentric world we will have super police who can read the minds of people and be able to intercept an potential incident like the pre cogs in Minority Report.

At best all the police can do is detect those who commit such crimes after the fact or prevent some incidents by carrying out raids and confiscating weapons, but given how easy they are to obtain not much of a real obstacle.

Saw this yesterday but wanted to see more details for now it seems we now using each other for target practice another father and husband wasted by bullets...just as the ever so reliable surveys are now saying 1 in 5 men know how to acquire a gun which tells you this surveys are a lot of bullsh$t half the time
I don't see how anything we suffer from would allow a black man to shot another at random and please spare me the excuses nothing logically can explain this nonsense!!

Doting dad is shot dead

A DOWN-ON-HIS-LUCK dad has been shot dead after thieves attacked him in a park. University graduate Moses Ssendawula, 41, was found lying in a pool of blood at the weekend.

The homeless father-of-three had been blasted in the neck and chest in Camberwell's Burgess Park.

A member of the public called police after stumbling on him in the early hours of Saturday.

Moses - who police believe could have been lying there for up to three hours - was pronounced dead at the scene.

Yesterday his grieving ex, the mum of his nine-year-old girl, Angela, paid tribute to her childhood sweetheart.

Linda Bilundi said: "Everybody knew Moses here because he was always helping people out.

"He was a very popular person, kind and gentle. He loved everyone and was never in trouble.

"We just can't understand why this has happened. The police said they don't know why he was attacked and we have no idea."

Moses was Linda's first boyfriend. The couple started going out when she was 16 and stayed together for 10 years.

The distraught 29-year-old said: "Moses was a wonderful father. He loved his daughter so much.

"He was so loving towards her, he used to call her 'my girl, my girl'.

"We had arranged for Moses to take Angela out shopping on Friday but he said he couldn't do it because he was busy.

"That is the last time we heard from him. When I told Angela her father had died it was terrible."

Fighting back the tears, Linda said: "Moses was devoted to his daughter - he would do anything for her."

Moses came to the UK from Uganda - where his two other teenage children live - in 1990 to escape the political situation in his home country. He studied at Croydon College before going on to read journalism and history at the University of Surrey in Guildford.

Linda, from Mitcham, said the killers of Moses, who had been staying with a friend, had robbed him after he was left for dead.

She added: "The police found nothing on him and nothing to identify him. They only found his mobile phone nearby and used that to find out his identity."

His sister, Thiza Wasswa, of Boutflower Road, Clapham Junction, said: "Moses had been trying to find work but could not because he had no address.

"He had been staying at friends' houses for a long time - maybe two years - but couldn't get a council house.

"We just want to know what happened.

"Why did they do this to him?" Officers from the Met's specialist shootings team Operation Trident are appealing for witnesses.

No I asked you. I know what that fool means and what his game is...He sees success in the numbers of black people who are now prepared to come forward and an increase in conviction rates..
