the type of mother that screams head up, son for a convicted gang member is the type of mother that probably finds excuses and turns a blind eye to all his past 'minor' Misdemeanours ....i see mothers like that all the damn time on the streets of peckham and they all honestly sicken me....

Ten years sounds like he got off very lightly. I also think the term mother is banded around very losely..we seem to have this picturesque image synonymously bound to that word where the reality is these mothers (and fathers) are humans probably with their own social problems and in serious need of help themselves. Gang members are some of the first to tell you what they are doing is for the love and protection of their mothers - invariably she has been the only one forever there for them.

Guess young deputy General is right there to step into those shoes!

astmartins - I can tell you about a mechanic setting up a Saturday workshop in Peckham trying to show the youngens the ropes and the tricks of the trade - his biggest problem is with gangsters threatening to shoot him when they come inteferring with the boys learning the ropes.

When money is being made morality seems to go out the window. If my mans mother was benefitting from the illegal gains then that may also have been a motivation for her to tell him to hold his head up. And remember, we're probably not talking about mothers from the old school here but more the new western lot.

astmartins - also the guns are a by product of the drugs. Primarily it's the making money from drugs which needs to be targetted. I suppose if even they were to succeed here, nigz will go back to pimping women.

Spar with the youths of today and they talk about stabbings and shootings like we used to talk about getting a hair cut.

Its amazing how many black lives have been taken and just one 11 year old YT kid shot dead and all of a sudden they want some firearm amnesty and declaring it a national crisis..its like our lives don't mean sh$t a YT live is definitely more precious !!...they infiltrate our community with drugs and guns using worthless people in our community ..no coincidence this proliferated with the advent of Eastern Europeans to this country

astmartins - there is still a level of respect which is due when YT protects his children against murders as well as abuse like pedophilia. I am completely baffled by this entire concept of whitey doing for themselves and not doing for us. What do we do to protect white children? and why do we expect white people to protect ours? Why don't we complain about asians not doing enough to prevent drugs like heroin entering Britain? It all goes back to black self-hatred and wotlissness and the inherent inferiority complex we have against they grey.

Firearm amnesty's are only for law abiding citizens not the lawless. After the serial killings in the Dunblane Massacres in Scotland where some nutter shot 16 children and the Hungerford Massacres where a loon killed another 16 including his mother, there were loud cries to tighten gun laws then. Are we saying a whiteman has never comitted a gun crime since...would we expect that to be the reality?...indeed isn't it about that time again for another nut to let loose.

White England will do what they have to do and at the core of that is protecting their own....I don't care how covert, dishonest and racist we believe white people are I still believe ultimately any proud race would do the same i.e. protect their own. The powers that be are happy as long as they can restrict the criminal element within the black community into pockets or boxed areas. For it to proliferate beyond 'their control' then they would sooner ship us back home as a fix....indeed call me cynical but this may yet prove to be our quickest route to reparations.

Of all the black deaths, how many times have you heard the powers that be say gun crime is not out of control. How many black deaths does it take to cross that out-of-control threshold? - 1 white boy maybe?

In the eyes of the grey man, they have already given us enough rope to better ourselves...with the liberation that short length of rope gives us (free schooling, free housing, free medical etc) we take it and hang ourselves by wallowing in the aftermath of pagan liberation. We get high on trivial success stories where instead of reaching for the stars and falling short at the sky, we measure success in terms of sleeping on the pavement as opposed to the kerb.

Goes back to this making advances in spite of the grey man because if as black people we are asking the question 'what can we do to better ourselves', then believe me the grey man with his length of rope is already convinced that we can't.

How many generations before us have asked these same questions and yet to reach consensus. Even if we came up with the solutions tomorrow and began to implement them, if we are lucky it will be our childrens children who will be the first generation to see any real collective benefit - and therein lies the paradox, because if we are waiting for people to start thinking this far ahead then I can understand why people see the greyman as our only hope to bettering ourselves....or at least our only hope is for the rest of the world to see the planet as one big multicultural society where we should get some free biscuits for no other reason than we happen to exist.

The great FredB said when others need to do something they just do it where we have huge debates and discussions....this is not to dismiss their political debate, conference or legislations but the level at which we philosophize to get across basic messages and lessons of what the rest of the world simply see as natural human instinct is embarrassing. Bettering ourselves has boiled down to being 'accepted' by the grey which means you are part of their ultimate agenda - looking after their own not yours.
