Clarification...

Usually campus news of this nature is kept local. But there is another underlying motive that is happening across the country in the United States.

Many universities want to expand with glorious building projects but need to toss out surrounding residents in the process.

However many prestigious universities are in urban areas that are plagued in poverty with increasing violence.

Those lands around the university are owned by the university.

The university wants to move them out cheaply or without expense but they dont have a valid reason and a direct approach would mean public backlash.

Having something like this happen will draw public support for the university and make it easier to administer eminent domain by the courts.

Effectively displacing the residents with ease.

Very cunning but easily seen.

Because of the nature of our public they have not realize the layer of sophistication that is happening until it too little too late.

Defyfear...Bingoo..Read that in my sleep just reading the title. Universities are serious heavy weight property owners, especially an institution like Chicago...Them boys just playing real estate politics using the poor and black poor in particular...

Just business....and its use of politics..
