Think the problem with calling the culprits, ''animals'' is that as we know or should know, the media like to put their own spin on stories at times as part of a a culture of victimization... like the other story you posted in about the girl those kids raped and poured caustic soda on; 16 year old girl gang-raped by CSI watching animals It wouldn't surprise me if they thought it was water but found that it wasn't their attempting to wash away the evidence with caustic soda sounds a bit sensationalist for my liking. Not to make any excuses for them but if that turns out to be the story you won't hear it being reported. In the same way if it turns out that the story of these shop keepers is a bit one sided and there was an altercation beforehand Ie; the stabbing didn't have anything to do with the theft of an orange you won't hear that side of the story either... they'll just go back to reporting on sightings of small blonde children in various countries or ridiculous stories about twins marrying each other as though thats news.

If we all started posting stories from right wing newspapers this site won't differ much from stormfront .lol. The worst one was last years, ''Biggest police raid'' on the rasta temple / crack house in south london, big story but the fact that the police didn't find anything what so ever just wasn't as interesting it seems.

I agree with BL I'm sure there's a lot more to the story than this. As soon as I read one of those free rags on the way home from work about how some 'blacks' "started" on some poor innocent eastern europeans I immeduately got suspicious. The one thing that is true is that in countries with high poverty, and a high murder rate..you do not get the same level of homicides based on such petty motives... It seems to me that these type of petty minded youth homicides are typical of people withing industrialised nations... It is about time everyone OWNED this problem in stead or marginalising it to a single 'community'...

I have yet to meet a person raised in the UK, who has only been exposed to a single community culture...in fact i'd argue that it is impossible for it to occur...

Caustic soda as water. Impossible. Has anyone here held a bucket of water with caustic soda dissolved in it. If your not careful it will knock you out from fumes alone.

Wasn't making excuses for them was only talking about the way things are reported and at times distorted saying that I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't know what they were doing as they were kids and not adults, that level of brutality just doesn't ring so I'm skeptical as to what actually happened. Kids can be bad but they're not sick in the head or aware of their actions at times.

The stabbing over an orange is almost comical, could be an 1800's comic strip for crying out loud. Got to watch out for the media and the way they paint a picture, if you people still haven't got that yet then you need to wake up.
