Israeli official warns Palestinians of shoah | U.S. | Reuters


JERUSALEM (Reuters) - A senior Israeli defense official said on Friday that Palestinians firing rockets from the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip would bring upon themselves what he termed a "shoah", the Hebrew word for holocaust or disaster.

The word is rarely used in Israel outside discussions of the Nazi Holocaust of Jews. Many Israelis are loath to countenance its use to describe other contemporary events. Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said the Palestinians faced "new Nazis".

and before you say what has this got to do with me, well for one thing, the statement is unprecedented !!! and will have reverberations , because if the Israeli’s really wanted to, they could get away with genocide.

This is rubbish. Israel is not threatening any genocide at all, it is merely responding to terrorist attacks from Palestinians in Gaza on Israel. Israel like every other country has a right to defend itself.

absolute bollox........people have the RIGHT to defend themselves against their ATTACKERS not everyone who happens to be going about their lawful business... Killing innocent men, women & children is not DEFENCE it is a disgrace...shame shame shame!!!

Israel is not deliberatly killing civilians it is targetting terrorists. But these Palestinian terrorists hide amongst their own civilian population in densely built up urban areas thus making civilian casualties unavoidable.

Hmmmm now let me think If i fire a rocket from an Aircraft or Chopper into a highly populated town is the intent to targeting a person/s or to inflict maximum damage on a civil population.....?

Or put more simply i get attacked by person A, instead of targeting the person who attacked me, I decide to drive past and shoot up his house with his mother, partner and children inside.. on the pretext of DEFEND MYSELF?

Is this a equitable response?

Is it reasonable to make his family PAY for person A's sins?

If i kill the other innocent people in Persons A's house Am i guilty of murder or self defence?

If i had commited this act of 'Self defence' would a dury of my peers accept that my behaviour was fair, balanced and reasonable?

Israel knows that regardless of how many guided missiles they throw into Gaza the katusha rockets will never stop, ergo the Israeli retaliatory missile strikes amount to nothing more than revenge, and deliberate murder. since the latest series of Israeli attacks over 120 Palestinian people have been killed , dozens of them women and children.

Is the death of babies and defenceless women ‘necessary to Israeli security’ ? ...were the native Americans, or the southern 'black' Africans terrorists when they were bombing or shooting interlopers into their lands ?

...yesterday 7 innocent Israeli’s died, I think that’s appalling, and I wish more legitimate targets were chosen instead .... but i did notice the instant condemnation from America.... where was the condemnation at the dozens, yes dozens of innocent Palestinians that died and continue to die....


believe me, if the Palestinians had tanks , and planes, and warships to fight the Israeli’s, they would use them . but all they have are decades old ak47's and their bodies...
