BBC NEWS | Europe | Turkish gay group will fight ban
Dear Mr Thatchell,
As you can see Turkey has outlawed a Gay rights group as immoral, Turkey also appears to have a serious issue of gay bashing. So I wonder will you and your bunch of merry men be riding out to Turkey to arrest its leader? Will you now call for a boycott of Turkish goods and prevent Turkish artist from performing in London/Uk as you did with Carribean Artists?
I wait with baited breath,but somehow I suspect you will cry off these targets, just like you did in Russia when they were less than welcoming to you there... It appears sir that you only have a big mouth and courage for BLACK music artist who you see as an easy target.. but when it comes to countries like America, the UK, and places like Turkey..I don't hear you on the radio, see you on the TV..calling for their immediate explusion... Nor do i see you trying arrest Bush, arrest Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in the same way you tried to arrest Mugabe...
One could begin to suspect that your agenda is one of RACE, rather than gay civil rights.. One of attacking easy targets and then turning yellow when the real targets stand up... If we see no action you will just confirm what was suspected all along that you're nothing but an opportunist who only picks on 'SAFE' target you know your paymaster won't attack you for, whilst turning a blind eye to the real enemy shame on you shame, shame!!! weak little man...

Sorry no i didn't send it to the wretch....it was meant as an op ed piece for this forum to highlight his and the GAY rights movements hypocracy on Reggae artist and alleged homophobia....
I could send it to him but what would be the point he and I will always disagree and he knows full well that he used reggae artist as a vehicle to promote himself and his cause.... Unfortunately those artist and their supporters made his job all too easy!!!

Looks like he does a lot of work for various causes, alongside calling for the age of consent for homosexuals to be lowered, a nasty one that.
Should write to him see what he says.
Personally wanted to write to the BBC reminding them that the internet is a brilliant source for alternative media providing people with news stories that they don't deem important enough to report on for what ever reason... ultimately saying that their hold on the minds of people has been lost and that with that comes a distrust of what propaganda they churn out each day.
