Alleged Michelle Obama Racist Rant -
06-06-08, 04:26 AM
HillBuzz: What's on the Michelle Obama Rant Tape? UPDATE: Barack Obama Has Denied This Tape Exists, So It Does Not Exist. Period. Exclamation Point. Change!
Here's what's known so far:
The Michelle Obama Rant Tape was filmed between June 26th - July 1st 2004 in Chicago, IL at the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition Conference at Trinity United Church: specifically the Women's Event.
Michelle Obama appeared as a panelist alongside Mrs. Khadijah Farrakhan and Mrs. James Meeks.
Bill Clinton spoke during the Conference, as did Bill Cosby and other speakers, but not at the panel Michelle attended.
Michelle Obama spoke at the Women's Event, but referenced Bill Clinton in her rant --- his presence at the conference was the impetus for her raving, it seems.
For about 30 minutes, Michelle Obama launched into a rant about the evils of America, and how America is to blame for the problems of Africa. Michelle personally blamed President Clinton for the deaths of millions of Africans and said America is responsible for the genocide of the Tutsis and other ethnic groups. She then launched into an attack on "whitey", and talked about solutions to black on black crime in the realm of diverting those actions onto white America. Her rant was fueled by the crowd: they reacted strongly to what she said, so she got more passionate and enraged, and that's when she completely loses it and says things that have made the mouths drop of everyone who's seen this.
The "tape" is a DVD that Trinity United sold on its website, and possibly offered free for download up until March 2008 when Trinity's site was scrubbed and the DVDs were no longer offered for sale.
This outburst happened just one month before the 2004 Democratic Convention, when Barack Obama delivered the keynote address.
UPDATED: It seems really easy for Chicago local media, especially, to determine whether or not this is the right tape of Michelle Obama. All they need to do is pull the tape from this 2004 Conference (particularly the panel Michelle was on), which should be readily available (since this was a very large multi-day event). All a journalist needs to do is watch this tape: if this is not the right one, they'd know immediately and this issue would be debunked. But, logically, this seems to be the most likely source of the tape people have been talking about at NoQuarterUSA.net

Hmmmm...so it starts.
So....you pull information from a Hillary Clinton support site, that is full of innuendoes, mudslinging, half-truths -- HILL(ary)Buzz --- and do EXACTLY what COINTELPRO did to subvert black movements in the 60's and turn them against them each other.
Mud sticks...irregardless of whether it is true or not. Anyone who slings it becomes the dupes of the puppetmasters who depend upon innuendoes, mudslinging to ripple their plot.
Would you admit that a Hillary Clinton support site is not exactly a source of high integrity to repeat their propaganda. Did you read the other things said on the site? Why not repeat those also? Or are they so ridiculous that they would create second questions about anything on that site.
Just a question.
All of these tactics of forcing an opponent to prove a negative - (a logical impossibility) has been the tactics of everyone from the Nazis to the White Citizens Council.
This is not to say that we should accept OUR people as gods. We are not. IMHO. This is to say that, to defeat the tactics of divide and conquer, of sowing the seeds of confusion, we must have higher standards than slinging gossip from a site whose clear aim is not truth, but to destroy, BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY, another person.

What makes you think that DSP shares the opinions in the article posted?
Would be interesting to see the video, good to hear that the Obama family aren't a bunch of complete coons and are somewhat self aware.... that being said, the west is drumming up toward intervention in Zimbabwe, wondering if they'll use him to push that line.

I COULD NOT HAVE PUT IT BETTER MYSELF. Here we are on the crest of something i never thought would happen in my great, great, great grand childrens life times, & a black person, on a black forum is highliting 4 yr old statements that could potentially damage Baracks chances.
Good God they have got us well trained.
Please, lets leave this sort of stuff for the White Power Structure to promote.

In regards to Zimbabwe I would hope not. I wish Mugabe would just go into exile somewhere like some other former leaders do.

Agree, Mugabe was on the front page of literally every newspaper over here the other day, ''if'' he stays it'll all go down in Obamas term.

OBAMA is built for this.
It's actually better that any tricks or old clips get revealed sooner than later..
politics is politics....
if Obama wasn't built for it...he would have remained in the private sector and made his money as an attorney......

Wtf?
For effing goodness sake.
Whites are just on a totally different plane...
If an African came out and said they preferred chocolate ice cream over vanilla, that will somehow be made out as having "racist" undertones and an attack on "whitey" (for the record it's only caucasians that use that term I've never heard Africans use it). Looking at the amount of things we're up against as a people is truly staggering.
What exactly did she say that was "racist", tell me please????

The goal of slander is not for anyone to believe it or not...it is to perpetuate itself.
Through others...purposefully or ignorantly.
Other posters on this thread have now been infected and wonder "what was REALLY on the tape".
DSP's EFFECTS...whether he believes it or not...is the exact same as the racist attack ads that are perpetuating this madness. This is not a character analysis of the MOTIVES of another person. That is another thing. Most of us, most likely, have done this, at one time or the other. I have. In the South, your mother would pop you in the mouth for publicly repeating something and you didn't know where it came from.
My god...just do a simple google search and try to find ONE, teeny-weeny factual basis.
Guess where the sources of this 'story' comes from. HillBuzz. A right wing blogger started the innuendo. Guess where other journalists go to to research this story...HillBuzz. American mainstream media was at the event in question. Hillbuzz accuses them of HIDING the tape and not getting it from their archives. NOTE! They are not accusing the church, they are accusing the WHITE mainstream media networks. (CBS, NBC, FOX and ABC). What a joke. That would be a newsbreaking story. Even if they suspected a coverup a good journalist would at least get good camera shots of women denying it happened or saying "no comment". It is easy to build a case.
There is nothing. Just a suggestion that CBS, ABC, FOX and NBC have a conspiracy to hide the tape.
What BS! Yet the power of the mudslinging that professional WHITE journalists don't even dare to put on the air for lack of ANY reliable sources, is perpetuated by a black website.
In the 70's (I'm older that most of you guys) we were disciplined to not make public statements about any form of un-verified information that might damage another black person. (this discipline came from SNCC). Young, hot-heads like myself liked to "make it plain" and "expose the negros" and we loved to talk to the white newspapers who reprinted our every attack against another black person. And as a poem from the Black Nationalist movement put it "Black IS being LOUD....and wrong!"
If we don't put facts with facts, gossip with gossip, innuendos with innuendos, then, really, how do we keep ourselves from being manipulated?

The internet is a dangerous place
If we do not have an accurate analysis of the problem, we cannot possibly develop a good strategy to resolve it.
