Default If you could speak to Mugabe face to face. What Would You Say Or Ask? - 06-06-08, 11:28 PM

Inspired by the most recent Mugabe thread, which in turn was inspired by his most recent 'headlines'

I am due to vist Zimbabwe in the next year or so. My grandsons mother is Zimbabwean so my son and self are planning (trying to raise the funds) to take my grandson out there to visit his maternal great grandmother.

She raised my daughter-in-law so it is important for her that her grandmother meets her son. For my self and son it is that whole 'coming full circle' vibe....taking our offspring back to the homeland.

But far more importantly for me I just can't wait to meet this woman, she is in her late 70's Infact she is only a couple of years older than my own mother...From the generation that gave us Mugabe?...

And on that note...back to point.

Mugabe

What if I could arrange an audience with him whilst on my vist to zimbabwea.
given my daughter in laws family connections within Zimbabwe elite (my one disappointment) this is not improbable (all it would require is a cover story)

Considering the possiblity I have considered what questions I would ask him. Instinctively I would just want to 'bitch slap' him...Minimum he would get a top lip. At best he would get some sense.

But I know my first question would be....

How do you justified cussing the people and yet paying off a debt to them, you don't even trully owe? Why?

And I guess I would have to ask why it took you so long to remove the colonist from your 'independent' state?

What questions would you put to Mugabe, given the opportunity?

What, if you had the opportunity would you ask him?

If we do not have an accurate analysis of the problem, we cannot possibly develop a good strategy to resolve it.

Mr Mugabe ........... What do you feel will be your lasting lagacy to Zimbabwe ?

How do you think you will be remembered by your People ?

Will you do what Winston Churchill Did and write your own place in History if not in 50 years time how will history sum up your place in the Country ?

stand firm, man, no matter how bad it looks you are in the right. we know what this is about. oh, and do not flinch to make life hell for that Tsvangirai person, if not for being a traitor in the making, then in retaliation for what a lot of our sons have to go through trapped behind enemy lines (wink wink).

we have work to do. we have a destiny to reclaim.

susceptibility to economic manipulation is the place we should be getting away from. no group of people seriously concerned with their welfare would allow their economy to be vulnerable to external control with results as devastating as we've witnessed in Zimbabwe. this is colonialism's legacy, and it needs changing. it needs to be given the boot.

kudos to you Mugabe for standing firm in this light.

those that made Zimbabwe's economy go into meltdown are responsible and should be held accountable for the suffering of not only Zimbabweans, but every African country where their policies have had similar results.

the nerve of the devil to even dare blame it on one individual... but then that is the devil through and through; a complete prick who believes everybody else is more a prick than he is...
