I thought Obama's speech was condescending(sp?) and uwarrented. I figured it was just political pandering to white voters.

With that said Jackson's words were uncalled for. He's fleeced more black people than Obama has. Not to meniton his son works for the Obama campaign.

This was staged so that middle "white America" would have a mental separation between Obama and the old school black American leadership.

Well, they don't have to worry about being good actors. A lot of "Blacks" here are fooled too. Folks around here need to find a history book. Everyone wants so badly to hate Jackson. Jackson isn't even all that bad. Anyway, folks seem to forget how Malcolm X would intentionally demonize King so that King's movement could get more support. He already know how scared "Whites" were of his organization.
