Mrs Legz no Insults intended, but your name tells a lot about your line of thought. Forgive me sista but breast milk is healthy milk how you expect women to bottle up babies milk (bought from the counter and filled with casseine-that isnt good) fails me. I know you could suggest they pump their breasts for the milks and then leave the houses with it in the bottles. But have you ever had breasts oozing with milk baby crying has refused the bottle and clearly wants the breast? THERE IS NO SHAME IN WOMEN BREASTFEEDING IN PUBLIC. I respect women who do it without shameblkscholar

I think anyone that has a problem with women breastfeeding publicy has a problem with women FULL STOP!(that means both men and women)

Breasts are chiefly designed as a food source not just for a mans pleasure.

There are ways to do it without causing offence of course, underneath a shawl, scarf whatever, but I personally dont think this sholud be necessary as it implies that feeding your baby is something to be ashamed of,how twisted is Western society????

Exactly how I feel. It's a food source for a baby. get over it. but I take MAJOR issue with this part:

its MISS legz not MRS and the reason why I'm called that is becuase I'm tall and my legs are long, so it doesnt really say alot about my 'line of thought'

I didnt say anywhere that breast feeding wasnt natural please quote me if i did, i said that the way the woman went about it was inappropriate with her breast hanging out for the nipple and everything to be seen.

Breast feeding is one of the most natural things but its the way that some people go about it. and there can be shame in a woman breast feeding depending on how she goes about it

If baby has to be feed, thenhas to be feed, those who find it nasty should just look the other way... babies belly is more importanthaving said thatido feelnursing mothers should havesomething to cover with when feeding baby in public even just to protect herself from the nasty stare of the weirdoes outwho will probably find it sexually arousing... yiks.

I m glad this topic got dug up again

as ya'll know i had a baby boy towards end of last year. anyway i breastfed him exclusively for the first few months

I breastfed wherever i was and he needed feeding. i sat in somerfields breastfeeding him . I refuse to let my baby starve dehydrate stomach pains cos of a few people who think his feeding session should be behind closed doors.

i dont really like seeing adults feed in public too much goo oozing out ya mouths lol

but i will breastfeed again and if baby hungry its coming out. plus you dont see nothing more than cleavage.

oh yeah i fed him on a train too. i did see a bloke sort of looking descreetly but turned away when i saw him.

you dont really see breast unless someone has taking breast completely out.

Its natural form of feeding..breastfed babies suffer least amount of gripe and colic etc

bottles are un natural and babies often full of gripe as bare air gets inside them

BREASTFEED WHEREVER WHENEVER BABY SAYS SO

plus breastfed babies arent on timers they tend to demand feed and only take what they want at that time. so you couldhave fed baby before you left house and before you know baby wants more...

I think i need to make some pro breast feeding t-shirts!!!!!

if i wasnt going back to work i would have delayed introducing bottles. nuff people were telling me to perservere with breats feeding

BREAST IS BEST

At Ladydayclp)clp)clp)well said. I breast feed my son untill he was two. Man you would think I was a child abuser the response I got from some people. People would say to me "Do you really think you should be still feeding your baby aged two,and in public too." and "Are you sure it's not for your benefit rather than the babys." In response anyone who has a brain and has breast fed a baby with teeth knows its not going to be for the mums benefit. I am so sick of the backwards westernised mentality blkheadbangwhich thinks is natural for women to flash there breastson the TV or in the papers but unnatural to breast feed in public, I mean what is that all about?????confused3
