I saw this on another site. If you can choose the sex of your unborn child would you? if so, what would you choose?

I wouldn't specify. Just a healthy, beautiful baby. Gender wouldn't matter.

If, for example, you had five boys one after the other... you can honestly say you wouldn't be tempted to try for a girl or vice versa??

I wanted boys.
I had girls.
I wish I had boys.

My condolences @ panther1977.
I've had one of each, so I can make an informed comment and say......
BOYS ARE TROUBLE!!!!
That said, I wouldn't change my little monster for anything.
I wouldn't like to make a choice - as long as the child is healthy, that's all I care about.

i think it wud be like playin god. i understand if say you have 5 girls, u mite have wanna hav a boy. but if it's out of preference it's not really right. a healthy baby should b enough. it also leads to a big imbalance of genders.
offtopic.gifa teacher told me, while back, that in china because couples are only allowed to have one child, most them favour boys, and if they have girls, they kill them and try to get a boy. dunno if its true but so glad i'm living in da uk

When i found out i was pregnant everybody said "what you having". At first it was ok, then after a while it got on my nerves when everybody that asked then proceeded to look at my shape and discuss the fact that i had a perfect bump and that in their minds "luckily i wasnt carrying it in my bum"!! They observed me so much deciding that because i had a neat round bump and the fact that i didnt have morning sickness that bad i MUST BE HAVING A BOY!!! So for that reason alone i decided that i didnt want to find out and that i just wanted a healthy, happy baby.
Inever found out till the baby was born and was happy that it was a healthy happy baby girl!!!!!!! If i had a pound for each one that said i was having a boy i'd be rich!!! Then they all decided that the reason that i had a neat bump and no sickness was because my boyfriend was a good father and partner!!! They were sure that if he was a "babyfada" i would have put on nuff wait and had a small bump and carried the baby weight to my ass???
Now shes 2 years old and i wouldnt change her 4 the world, shes getting kinda naughty tho, so all that about boys being troublesome aint necessarily tru, girls are too. But i would like to have a boy next time just to see how different they are in terms of development etc and also just to have a boy, ive always wanted one of each, but if i had a girl again, i'd be just as happy.
As my partner always says.....it takes more of a man tomake a girl....And as i say WHATEVA!!!

yes - I´d make the choice.
I´d bet overpopulation would seriously curb if people could determine the sexes of their babies.. you can have a brood of boys walking around- but you keep trying "for a girl".. or vice versa.. guarantee one of each in the order you´d like. great.
We keep pretending that kids are gifts of g-d - but we control when we have them? Every time we swallow the pill we are defying g-ds will? There is little to no reason for anyone of us to get pregnant - unless we CHOOSE to - why stop the choice there? if you dont mind either, go in blind - but if you desire a boy or girl - why not be specific?
kids are a fulfilment of self. So if you cannot provide for them, dont have them. If you want a girl, have a girl, if you want a boy, have a boy.
