Hey All ,
Mz_nigeria: Thanks for the congrats. Welcome too! Glad you can finally talk with us.
LadyDay: It must be tough. Hang in there sis. Baby Maat still wakes a few times at night but sleeps for longer hours at a time. I'm still mash up though! *She says opening yet another vortex as she types* A drop of Lavendar oil in a small bowl of hot water may help him settle.
mistriladi: CONGRATULATIONS SISbanana.gif. I'm thankful that all was ok with the delivery in the end. Try the above for baba and see if it can get you some more hours rest too. Don't worry too much about not being used to motherhood. Most of us aren't we learn as we go along - no matter how much the book says it should go. You know where to come with your questions still .
I agree with your concerns for the friendliness with strangers. Drifting is another one that makes me panic when we're out. It's irritating to think of the extremes we have to go to. What a sick set a people we live amongst. The school situation sounds like my daughters with collecting them. They asked us for names of people whi may get her and to what I know, don't allow anyone else to collect the children if they names aren't given.
LadyVee: Ahh sis I feel for youblk2hug. Go get some more lovin and gi de baba two dimple . Let's face it you can't do much elseconfused3. blkhailerCome now BabyVee, time to meet your cousins.
BB: U gettin broody for true ??
MsPNutt: Thanks for the congratulations. Good luck tryingniceone.gif.
MBD: Good to see you sis!
All: Well Baby Maat is growing nicely. He's still eating alot it's not as draining as it was before because he can drink from the bottle now. He's got a nice mohecan(?)and rim LOL and is already making baby conversation. Lately he's been trying to get past the first few chuckles of a laugh before he gets hiccups. He seems to have got into a good sleep pattern and I managed to get 6 hrs sleep last night for the first time since him bornbanana.gif....it's a tease though because the more youget the harder it is when you do have to get up.
I've finally left my job and am working for myself at last. It's come in good time because I can work completely around my family. It's gonna be tough but Iam so free now. Just looking forward to getting on with so many things I've always wanted.

Yay, Maat....missed ya, Sis!
I'm pleased to know Junior is doing so well! And I'm so proud of you working from home. It's a good feeling, isn't it?
As for me..... .I've jumped on Hubby loadsof times, but the only one who's benefitting is him!SMUDGE IS NOT MOVING! I can't walk very far as it's painful, andI can't take the hot food....
I think I'm going to take bets on when Smudge's coming out. My son said the 7th, obviously not, my daughter says the 11th. Me, I've given up trying to second-guess this one....

@sistagirl: Thanks sis. Good (as always) to hear from you again
@LadyVee: Missed you too . Working from home is nice. I just have to make sure I allocate time for the work. Shame your attempts aren't making smudge come out. Have you tried the hot baths? They helped me first time round. Boooy I'll place the first bet for today, 9th January 7pm!

Lady Day,
Awwwww, bless your little Prince.
Is it weaning time already? Gosh, doesn't time fly!!! I can understand him being irritable - colds are nasty at any age. I hate it when they cough - I always wish they can transfer it to me.
Glad that he's doing so well.

@Lady Day: It's tough but it will get easier in time. Speaking of which, weaning has comefast. The little man will be starting soon too. Daddy's given him yoghurt already which he seems to like. I hope your interview went well.

@LadyVee: Seriously now. Shouldn't they be talking of inducing you?

I have an appointment tomorrow at the Ante-Natal Clinic, where they'll talk about inducing.
I can't believe this child is so late. I do have a theory, though. My daughter was born on the 18th of the month, my son the 19th. I wonder is Smudge is holding out until the 17th......?
