banana.gifA BOYbanana.gif
Hecame on Thursday, as expected,3 hours after my waters broke at home. He weighed 7lbs 5oz and is doing just fine. The delivery was quite quick too. I felt really tired though so didn't bother with any pain relief other than breathing. I didn't come home until yesterday, as I was at risk of losing a lot of blood. Those two nights were longman and here the joke, the NHS dem have Ackee and Saltfish pon de menu dese days LOL.
I'm just taking my timeat the moment. Still a bit weak but much better for being home .

My mistake it's Mistriladi next. How are you bearing up? I knew there were others who said they were pregnant here.
@Mis_ter_ree: How you doing? You're due in November sometime right??
@Nia: Hope you are doing alright too.
....well how's about that for a village baby boom
Oh and BlackBeauty: Now, my belly is black

@ MAAT,
another healthy addition to BN.
Mistriladi,
You should have a girl, otherwise all these boys popping out won't be able to procreate!!!
Good luck!

i was surprised at the menu too. at the hospital i was at considering that the black community aint that big in comparison to our neighbours they had the full works on. th african caribbean menu had as follows
jerk chicken and festivals........jerk chicken with rice n peas....steam brim with rice....calaloo & saltfish with rice...spicy fried chicken with ricen peas....beef curry with rice....curry goat with rice n peas....brown stew chicken with rice n peas...brown stew chicken with rice...brown stew lamb with rice n peas...chicken curry with rice....ackees and saltfish with rice...curry mutton with rice ....chicken in coconut milk with rice..
the jerk chicken was nice with dem festivals. i was dipping the hard dough bread hubby bought me in that sauce. mmm.
i had nurses and hca's saying mm yeah that jerky chicken is really nice.
